    As a production worker at our bakeshop food manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for producing, assembling, and packaging the bakeshop products that stock our stores for our customers to enjoy, using equipment and machinery as necessary for the job. You will help keep the tube mill running efficiently, support daily production, and ensure equipment operates safely. This on-site role is ideal for hands-on candidates who enjoy active work and want steady, reliable hours in a manufacturing environment. Available Shifts and Pay: 1st Shift: 5:45am to 1:45pm Monday through Friday - $18.00 per hour (When Overtime is necessary this shift will be 6:45am-4:45pm) 3rd Shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am Sunday through Thursday - $18.25 per hour (When Overtime is necessary this shift will be 9pm-7am) Key Responsibilities: Understand all emergency stops, pinch points, light curtains, and safety procedures. Complete setup checklists and prepare work areas before operations begin. Use banding and packaging tools correctly and keep supplies organized. Read work orders and tag information, including special packaging instructions. Manage warehouse locations and scan inventory into the system. Perform safety checks on stacker crane and tow motor before use. Set up carts and racks. Cut and stage wood for efficient production. Blow out tubes, package tubes properly, move bundles, and verify tags and stickers. Assist with raft sizing changes and support H-Coil Operator during roll changes. Maintain clean staging areas, remove coolant, and check supplies. Review production schedule for packaging instructions. Organize, stack, pack, and inspect tubes as they come off the mill. Follow all direction from Cut Off Operator and Tube Mill Operator. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience. Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and work orders. Ability to write simple reports and documentation. Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages. Ability to follow verbal, written, and diagram-based instructions. Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented. Physical Requirements: Regular standing and use of hands and fingers. Frequent repetitive lifting of at least 8 pounds and occasional lifting over 60 pounds. Ability to maintain close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision. Work Environment Exposure to moving mechanical parts. Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Loud production environment typical of steel processing.
