The delivery captain's primary responsibilities include the following: Handle all functions of the final delivery of a customer's new or used boat. This will include an inspection of cleanliness, on water demonstration, review of operations, loading and unloading from the trailer, handling customer questions and concerns, and ensuring the customer is 100% satisfied with their purchase from Long Lake Marina. If applicable, the delivery captain will travel over the road with trailer to the customer's house, a public boat ramp, or the customer's slip on their lake, and provide the same customer experience they would receive at the marina. Additionally, the delivery captain reviews the final check list, has the customer sign off on various legal documents such a a pre delivery inspection form. Purpose of Job: To deliver batteries and provide exceptional customer service to a predetermined route of customers and dealers within your territory. Grow route sales through outrageous customer service, providing trustworthy advice and driving dealer retention. Job Components: Deliver batteries and provide service each dealer on your route in a timely manner. Follow all Environmental Health and Safety rules and policies Establish, build and maintain good dealer relationships. Effectively manage consignment programs to help dealers increase sales and drive retention Complete documentation on a timely basis. Maintain the route by keeping displays clean and keeping dealer list up to date Invoice all units that fail to last warranty period Rotate batteries to maintain quality product and service standards Collect and handle payments on account, which may include cash, checks and money orders Collect and return junk and/or used batteries. Load and unload truck Qualifications: Must possess current DOT Medical Certification and maintain clean driving record. Depending on equipment that will be operated, a Class A or B Commercial Drivers License may be required. Prior driving and customer service experience highly desirable Good communication skills Ability to interact effectively with customers Strong customer service skills. High school diploma or GED equivalent Ability to read, write and compute basic math. Scope Data: Uses frequent independent judgment when making decisions Work Environment: Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk. Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Pleasant Mountain is looking for friendly and enthusiastic Ticket Sellers and Guest Service Professionals for the 2023/2024 winter season. Our Ticketing and Guest Services Offices are the information hubs of the ski area. T hese positions can be fast paced and require a level of multi-tasking and troubleshooting abilities. Responsibilities: Be a friendly and welcoming face for guests Clearly and effectively communicate with guests via phone, email and in person. Be able to relay needed information to other departments to create an exceptional guest experience Receive and log 'lost and found' items Have a comprehensive understanding of all ticket products such as various rates, discounts offered, promotions, and events Complete accurate transactions for purchases Work with and assists your teammates to provide exceptional guest service Keep a clean workspace, restock items as needed, and assist with opening/closing duties Comfortable and confident having difficult conversations and able to diffuse, or seek assistance, with guest issues
