Performs general radiology procedures for patients of all age groups served. Duties include: general operating procedures, start up procedures, calibration of equipment, troubleshooting, QC, preventative maintenance, malfunctioning equipment and problem solving. Assists in evaluation of new procedures, reagents and equipment. Ensures correct exam is performed with the right patient, at the right time, verifies patient identification with proper film. Explains procedure and assesses the patient before testing occurs. Assists the radiologists with fluoroscopic examinations according to departmental policies and procedures. Follows protocol for filing and copying of films.
Performs billing and charging with hospital computer systems.
Identifies, proposes solutions and assists in implementation of ideas for improvement in patient care and departmental / hospital operations. Identifies opportunities and implements strategies to decrease waste in supplies and equipment.
Maintains inter and intra departmental communication via phone, fax, computer, etc. Maintains communication with radiologists. In depth knowledge of human anatomy, patient positioning and technical judgment.
Prioritizes workload. Completes work in a timely manner. Maintains a clean and orderly work environment. Shares responsibility for organizing supplies, tracking, stocking and storing equipment.

Position Summary
Working lead, coordinates the scheduling and efforts of the Radiology Techs. Performs a variety of radiological procedures. Responsible for on-call procedures when indicated. In Absence of Supervisor/Director, this position oversees the Radiology Department to ensure that the unit is operating efficiently and effectively.
Special Skills:
Excellent verbal communication skills necessary to understand oral and written instructions stated in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff.
Problem solving skills.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Completion of JRCERT approved formal program in Radiologic Technology.
Experience: One - two years radiology experience with demonstrated leadership skills.
Licensure/Certifications: Currently Certified and Registered in Radiography R.T. (R)(CRT). CPR.

Working Lead. Trains and mentors staff. Coordinates scheduling and efforts of Surgical Techs. Certified surgical technician providing intra-operative support. The APG Maintenance Lead works full-time at the Arizona Proving Ground (APG) in Wittmann, Arizona (Department 5100T621/1000018394). The Maintenance Lead is responsible for the Maintenance operation of the roughly 1,500-acre facility dedicated to car and truck performance and product development testing. The job is accomplished thru working with a team of purchase service employees, APG hired service providers and, if applicable, Ford Land/CBRE hired service providers to make sure all facilities; like tracks, buildings and equipment, are clean and available, operating correctly and meet the expectations and requirements of all our internal and external customers.
Funding for the work comes from APG's maintenance budget and capital funding which requires managing budgets and writing appropriation requests.
The Maintenance Lead will be expected to work with local employees (Ford personnel, as well as non-Ford personnel and brokering customers) and communicate with testing, engineering, and management teams. The Mainteance Lead will be part of the Ford Management Team at APG.
