Buff vehicles by applying dressing to engine compartment, wheels, wheel wells and tires, vinyl tops, etc. Apply compound, cleaner and/or polish to vehicles interior, and buff out using a rotary buffer (or by hand as necessary). Wax and buff exterior and all painted surfaces of vehicles using a hand-type buffer.
Vacuum interior, scrub, shampoo and spot clean carpet and upholstery. Straighten seatbelts.
Clean glove box making sure that warranty booklet, owner's manual and other manufacturer issued information is returned.

Inspect all repairs and primed panels for proper and complete body repairs and primer application as defined in SOP.

Mask/protect any adjacent panels (non-refinish) from scratches or damage before final sanding.
Prepare properly repaired and primed panels (including “blend” panels) for
final finish application using abrasives, power tools, and hand tools, as directed in SOP.
Avoid over-sanding (cutting through the finish) or under-sanding (leaving sand scratches that will be visible in the final finish) and refinish panels.
Clean and remove all dust and other particles from repair/refinish panels completely prior to moving completed vehicles to the next step.

What You'll Do
“Leadership” is the name of the game for this position. You'll be responsible for making sure that the shop runs smoothly and safely, while also serving as a vehicle expert and mentor for your team. Here's what you'll do:
· Manage and provide direction to the supervisors, teams and team members.
· Ensure systems are in place to efficiently and effectively manage quality work in accordance with factory standards, company policies and customer expectations.
· Ensure customer satisfaction through the direction of technicians/shop staff in the performance of quality maintenance and repair work.
· Prepare schedules and plan staff rotations to ensure maintenance/repair work is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.
· Analyze incoming vehicles for service needs.
· Maintain supply and support systems, including technical reference material, workshop supplies and other related materials.
· Conduct periodic spot checks of completed jobs for thoroughness and quality.
· Mentor and teach technicians to ensure overall growth of the team.
· Ensure that all personnel adhere to company policies and comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
Who You Are

Minimum:
· BA/BS degree and 7+ years of related experience (reconditioning and/or lot operations; body shop; automotive service and/ or repair; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience). No Degree, 11 years of relevant work experience needed.
· At least 1 year of experience in a management or lead role.
· Good communication and interaction skills.
· Good management and organizational skills.
· Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
· The ability to lift 1-30 pounds (light hand tools, etc.).

Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire product lifecycle from initial concept through development, launch, and end-of-life, ensuring seamless transitions through each stage and ongoing product performance. Collaborate with Stakeholders and UX Design: Partner with business, technology, UX teams, and 3rd party technology partners to design or modify products, ensuring a high-quality user experience, alignment with budget and schedule specifications, and effective cross-functional collaboration. Work with the Global Connectivity Management, Technology Development, Contracting, Legal, Product Marketing, and Business or Consumer Pricing Team to develop pricing strategies. Negotiate with vendors to improve the product cost structure, feature functionality, and product support.
