Day-to-day engagement: Utilizing a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you'll restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. The use of technology is critical in this role, for the day-to-day work as well as communication with your supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering surveys for required merchandising activities. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is also vital for success in this role. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
Holiday support: Hallmark's operations revolve around seasonal demand. Leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, you can expect additional days and extended hours during the work week. On occasions like Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, and Father's Day, you may be required to work on the actual holiday itself, which may include the weekend.
Department Resets: At times, you may be part of a team responsible for installations and various tasks like building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, as well as resetting card sections. Typically, you will be notified two weeks in advance for remodel assignments. This could include evenings or weekend.

Position Description:
The South Dakota Department of Transportation Winner Area Office is looking for eager and capable interns to support our mission to provide "Better Lives through Better Transportation." By joining our team, you will become part of that larger purpose to maintain and build our state's roads and bridges for all South Dakotans and those who travel through our state. The Winner Area Office is looking for both Engineering students and non-Engineering students to help us fulfill this mission. We have work in a variety of capacities, from asset inventory of items like guardrail and culverts to working on large scale construction projects such as bridge and road reconstruction. We have opportunities for you to work independently and in a team setting. Our goal is to deliver the best possible internship experience for you while helping meet our goals and mission. Opportunities are available to work closely with our highly experienced Engineering and Technician staff to gain real world knowledge and skills. We have flexible scheduling available and opportunities for paid overtime. Interns will also be given safety apparel for use on the job and meal reimbursement when working away from the office. Interns are also encouraged to attend paid events such as the Governor's intern picnic and the DOT's sponsored intern appreciation day.
Typical work assignments include but are not limited to.
Project administration duties, project inspection activities, testing of materials, surveying, checking materials, and other miscellaneous work. Completing culvert and guardrail inventory. Assisting office personnel, maintenance, and supervisors on tasks. Assignments will allow you to work in a variety of environments, from the office to the great outdoors.
Qualifications:
Applicant must be enrolled as a part-time/full-time student at a college, university, or technical institute at the time they apply. By the start of the internship, the student should have completed one year (nine months) of their chosen program.
All students are encouraged to apply, but preference may be given to applicants with a standing of junior/senior, South Dakota residents, and students of South Dakota institutions.

A Brief Overview
Accountable for providing direct, personal care and services to residents in the skilled nursing facility, which meet the physical, academical, social and spiritual needs on a daily basis to maintain and improve their highest level of independent function.
What you will do
* Provides assistance to residents with their activities of daily living
* Performs routine duties and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff. This may include but not limited to assisting patients with bathing and dressing needs, shaving, oral hygiene, bed making, transfers into and out of bed, repositioning, toileting needs, serving and collecting food trays, encouraging and/or assisting with feeding, answering call lights, insuring a clean environment, transporting patients upon admission and dismissal, assisting with ambulation and orienting/reorienting of resident to the facility environment to insure resident safety.
* Performs blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration and weight. Documents concise and factual information on the appropriate forms.
* Performs or assists residents in performing specific medical care activities in accordance with established policy and procedure to contribute to the patient's plan of care. This includes assisting residents in performing restorative exercises, collecting specimens as directed by nursing staff. Assessing and documenting completed cares. Provide feedback to nursing staff immediately on status or changes in patient conditions, pain management, and other important concerns.
* Assists with restocking supplies and maintaining appropriate work environment in unit including cleaning procedures.
* Participates in providing emotional, educational and spiritual support for families.
* Complies with all aspects of resident rights including confidentiality and privacy. Reports all allegations of resident abuse or misappropriation of resident property.
* Understanding and following established policy and procedures related to fire, tornado, evacuation, disaster plan, universal precautions, infection control procedures, hazardous and chemical communication program. Maintains an environment that is clean and safe for all residents, families and staff.
