Summary

Ops., Privacy, and Special Projects Staff - Houston TX. - Full Time
Provides professional budgetary and accountability service in a staff capacity to support the Company Law Department. Develops complex procedures and techniques for planning and financial analyses, cost control and comprehensive programs for achieving Law Department objectives. Functions include budget, performance indices, cost control, contracts, and technical or business analysis projects. May provide work direction to assigned staff.
SCOPE:
Responsible, under the general direction of the General Counsel, for providing support to Company Law operations in preparation of routine and special reports to facilitate accounting/financial analyses of the Law Department's operating plans, capital and expense budgets, and accountability for costs. Performs special studies as required. Serves as the Law Department's liaison with operation/support services organizations. Incumbent may direct the work of assigned Budgets and Accountability Analysts and other assigned staff.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Supports the ongoing budget and financial planning of the Company Law department, working in collaboration with the Company Finance department, external counsel, and other affiliates in the Enterprise.
Coordinates the preparation of routine or special reports for Law Management review and approval.
Works with corporate groups in maintaining the flow of business information to assist Department Head/Division Heads in keeping operating and manpower budgets within established programs and standards.
Conducts business analysis of productivity and effective utilization of funds and resources or other areas of concern.
Develops cost control measures required to meet cost/schedule/program objectives.
Provides and records operations performance data with particular emphasis on portrayal of trends.
Provides for the development and maintenance of statistical reports, visual presentations and others for management purposes.
Has excellent skills and familiarity with SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office products.
Guides the work of subordinates as applicable.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or closely related degree.
Six (6) years of diversified experience in cost control, budget systems, business systems, EDP systems or related activities.
Must be able to communicate and comprehend accurately, clearly and concisely in English at a level required to perform the job as outlined.
Must have ability to perform statistical and problem analyses while working under time constraints and have working knowledge of applicable EDP systems and programs. Must possess good work habits, a strong work ethic, and be able to adhere to company work hours, policies, and standard business etiquette.

The Project Valuation Financial Analyst will play a critical role in advancing the company's pipeline of renewable and dispatchable energy assets by serving as the primary architect of the analytical frameworks that support investment, development, and financing decisions. This position is responsible for building, maintaining, and interpreting complex financial models to evaluate greenfield development, M&A opportunities, and portfolio-level strategies across solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and flexible thermal assets. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in project finance, capital structuring, and risk analysis, with a strong understanding of U.S. energy markets and the drivers of asset value. This role will support early-stage development, lead valuation and scenario analyses, contribute to transaction structuring and negotiations, and provide critical insights to inform capital raising efforts, partnership discussions, and corporate strategy. As a cross-functional position, the Financial Analyst will collaborate closely with internal development, finance, and executive teams, and will regularly interface with external stakeholders including lenders, and investors.
Requirements:
Project Valuation Financial Analyst DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
Create and analyze financial models to determine project feasibility and financial viability.
Develop, refine, and present financing and valuation strategies to internal leadership, investors, and other key stakeholders.
Work alongside staff to promote rapid execution of financing strategy.
Maximize value and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
Lead due diligence efforts associated with new financial opportunities.
Support and pursue new opportunities to add incremental value to the broader organization.
Collaborate with other departments to align project finance strategies with overall business goals.
Prepare and present detailed presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct regular reviews of project performance and financial outcomes.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and project outcomes.
Enhance and standardize internal financial modeling tools, assumptions, and best practices across the organization.
Project Valuation Financial Analyst REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or related fields.
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field (Master's degree, MBA, or CFA preferred).
Proven track record of leading and executing large-scale project financing deals.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication, and presentation skills
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and business etiquette. Ability to communicate effectively with all audiences.
Must be willing to promote a culture of high moral standards, work ethic, work product, and ingenuity.
In-depth knowledge of project finance structures, financial modeling, and risk management.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Summary:
Responsible for tracking financial performance of capital spending, forecasting, and variance analysis for Sunoco LP. Assists and supports short and long-term capital planning activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial review reporting deck for Executive Management
* Support the company-wide annual budget planning and subsequent monthly forecasting process for all capital
* Coordinate with field analysts, operations management, and project managers to accurately budget and forecast projects
* Conduct capital variance analysis including budget/forecast vs. actual, quarter vs. quarter, current year vs. prior year
* Regularly present results, forecasts, and budgets to commercial, operations, and executive leadership
* Provide Ad Hoc capital spend analysis for operations and commercial departments
* Work closely with Accounting, HR, Insurance, Tax, and other departments to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
* Participate in team objectives of maximizing efficiencies with reporting, automation, and optimization
* Provide support of our TM1 production and development environments supporting multiple users, maintaining existing dimensions and managing user access/security
* Provide quarterly/annual capital support for earnings releases, 10-K, 10-Q, and other external financial reporting for discussion and analysis purposes
* Prepare quarterly reports for Investor Relations, Board of Directors, and M&A teams

Requirements:
