This includes cleaning (including restrooms) and light maintenance, organizing equipment and storage spaces, and inspection of equipment. • Set up and tearing down spaces and classrooms for general play, programs, and rentals. • Enforce building policies and procedures. • Ensure all patrons are using equipment and spaces in a safe and appropriate manner. • Ensure all patrons using spaces are in accordance with building and department schedules, policies, and procedures. • Maintain attendance records and ensure program sign-in procedures are followed. Keep score for gymnasium programs when needed. • Helps maintain security and patron safety of recreation spaces. • Provide general first aid and respond to emergencies in cases of participants injury or illness. Initiate building emergency actions plans and fill out appropriate accident and incident reports when needed. • Assist with opening and closing procedures of the community center. • Communicate all building and operational issues with MOD or supervisor. • Assist with community center programs as needed. • Demonstrate predictable and regular attendance.
