The Functional Assessment Specialist is responsible for administering, scoring, and interpreting the Functional Assessment Rating Scales (FARS) and Children's Functional Assessment Rating Scale (CFARS) to evaluate the behavioral, emotional, and psychosocial functioning of clients within behavioral health programs. The specialist plays a key role in treatment planning, outcome measurement, and ensuring compliance with state and organizational standards for behavioral health assessment and reporting.
