JOB REQUIREMENTS
Position Responsibilities:
* Receive and count stock items, (tracking and inventory control).
* Unpack delivered goods and store in appropriate location until issue.
* Notify appropriate department when ordered item has arrived or deliver to appropriate department.
* Maintain inventory control by continuous tracking and inventory updates.
* Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
* Use identification tags, stamps, electric making tools, or other labeling equipment to mark all goods.
* Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
* Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
* Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
* Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
* Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.
Required Qualifications:
* Must have 4+ years' experience working for an industrial construction project in the warehouse or equivalent materialhandler position
* Must have working knowledge of the basic processes and equipment used in construction and on industrial plants.
* Must be organized and have the ability to complete an accurate count on items received.
* Must have good communication skills, including the ability to read and write effectively.
* Must be familiar with basic computer operations; SAP Experience needed.
* Must be able to follow directions.
* Must be able to use tools such as hammers and drills in order to open crated materials received or to crate materials that are scheduled to be shipped.

Duties and responsibilities:
Manage logistics for all incoming and outgoing freight.
Inspection of all incoming products - visually inspecting equipment and boxes ensuring quality product is received (no visual damage incurred during shipment). If damaged freight is received, you must get approval from manager before refusing delivery.
Ensure all parts and equipment items are kept with like parts and equipment and that bin locations are properly recorded in the inventory management system for ease of locating and inventory control. Consistency in location is a key result of these efforts.
Conduct random inventory cycle counts as requested by management to verify accurate stock counts.
Ensure shipping accuracy by confirming exact part numbers and/or model and serial numbers along with correct ordered amount against all order paperwork from sales and service. Discrepancies are to be immediately communicated to your manager.
Coordinate pick-up and deliveries with 3rd party carriers.
Receive stock deliveries, unpack, confirm receipt, and put away in correct location. Input and track inventory in ERP system and/or SAP.
Arrange stock transfers in/out of other branches - coordinate and stage service parts for service technicians.
Ensure compliance with all applicable EH&S and OSHA rules and laws, and company ISO quality standards.
Label units and equipment by creating a large 8.5 x 11 identification sheet indicating the model and serial number and placing on the outside of unit/equipment ensuring its visibility from the floor.
Units/equipment must be organized and stored in a central area for ease of retrieval and inventory counts.
Keeps the warehouse clean, organized, and accessible.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent (Related industry experience may be considered in lieu of education requirements)
Associate degree or other post high school training (2 years duration) preferred not required.
Professional experience:
Air compressor experience a plus.
Prior logistics, warehousing, and inventory management experience.
Skilled forklift operations experience and certification is required.
Moderate proficiency with Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Word, Excel preferred.
SAP knowledge preferred.
1-2 years warehousing, inventory management and logistics experience.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Reads load lists, production schedule, customer or shipping instructions in order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
Loads and unloads trucks, verifies load lists, and moves materials and items to storage, production, service, office or other designated areas
Sorts and places warehouse materials or items on racks, shelves, pallets or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as location, order number, size, type, style, color, or product code
Assembles customer orders from the stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, marking the material with identifying information
Notifies manager or coworkers of shortages, discrepancies or anticipated needs
Conducts Pella product quality audits in accordance with the quality inspection process
Performs cycle counts to verify accuracy of inventory information; maintains inventory records
Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers
Uses computer to verify order information, such as expected receipt date, product type, color, or quantity
Operates radio frequency scanners
Drives/Operates material handling equipment (i.e. cherry picker, forklift, wheeled carts, etc.) upon certification
Prepares parcels for mailing or third party delivery service
Works in a way that prevents damage to product
Meets company safety requirements by keeping work area neat and clean, following safety precautions and wearing required safety apparel (i.e. shoes, safety glasses, fall protection, etc.) and reporting any safety concerns to supervisor
Promotes and facilitates continuous improvement activities in the department
Drives truck loaded with Pella products to customer jobsite or other predetermined location; occasionally picks-up return products
Performs visual quality inspections on product while loading and unloading
Collects money from customers on COD orders and issues a customer receipt
Obtains customer signature as a verification of delivery or pick-up
Ensure vehicle is always operated in safe manner, in all conditions
Reports maintenance needs on delivery vehicles
Must have a valid driver's license, may require commercial driver's license, and in compliance with the company Fleet Safety Policy

Summary
You will be responsible for loading/unloading materials within or near facility, yard, or worksite. You will utilize a Class 6 straight truck or Class 3 with trailer to transport and deliver products when needed. Knowledge of the construction industry and concrete services a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assembles and fills orders for shipment to customers then reviews all orders to ensure picking accuracy.
Pulls and assembles orders for will call customers quickly, accurately, courteously, and respectfully.
Loads materials onto pallets or into crates that contain products for transfer to all locations and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Safely assist in the loading and unloading of the product to customers' location and return products. Report any problems that occur with a customer if possible before leaving the delivery location.
General Housekeeping of branch warehouse and yard to keep clean and in orderly fashion.

High School diploma or GED and one to three months experience; or combination of education and training or experience. Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record. Driving experience with Class 6 straight truck including winter driving experience preferred but not required.
Valid driver's license and
DOT Medical Health card required

Must be able to lift 50 pounds by hand and up to 75 pounds with help.
Working knowledge of computer software such as email and order processing systems.
