RESPONSIBILITIES As a Site Quality Inspector, you will: Be responsible for inspecting all site welds and ensuring compliance with governing guidelines. Stop and report all unsafe conditions and acts. Understand the governing construction codes. Understand the inspection and test plan requirements applicable to the work scope. Ensure welders are qualified for the welding being performed. Inspect the welds, assigns numbers for the weld map, create weld logs. Perform all aspects of Hydro-test and Turnover Package maintenance. Utilize punch lists to identify incomplete items and present to supervision. Compile all appropriate documents in the turnover package. About this Role The Civil Inspector will oversee civil inspection activities for projects located in the West Texas area near Colorado City, Lamesa, and Garden City, TX. This role ensures compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications while coordinating with clients, contractors, and testing laboratories to ensure quality and safety. What You'll Do Conduct inspections on civil works, including formwork, rebar placement, concrete, soil compaction, and other structural elements. Interpret job-specific standards, ACI Codes, and engineering drawings for accuracy and compliance. Complete inspection reports in a timely and accurate manner. Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and laboratory staff regarding testing and results. Coordinate with testing laboratories for concrete testing and soil compaction requirements. Provide feedback and recommendations to ensure project specifications are met. What You'll Bring Minimum 5-8 years of civil inspection experience, preferably within industrial or heavy civil projects.
