POSTION: SPA ATTENDANT Located on the water in Lower Manhattan, the iconic Battery Maritime Building, one of the last remaining Beaux-Arts style ferry terminals of the twentieth century, designed in 1906, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. It is being developed into Casa Cipriani, a true private members club in the modern sense and will bring together an eclectic community who shares life's simple pleasures. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES Adhere to all corporate, departmental and spa operational policies and procedures. Prepare changing rooms and lobby lounge areas for guests and members according to housekeeping guidelines. Maintain changing room appearance and cleanliness. Ensure that amenities are consistently stocked (robes, slippers, towels, linens, equipment, and supplies), according to standard operating procedures. Maintain laundry room and lauder linens. Provide support in the overall units Cleaning and Sanitation procedures. SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Prior experience with changing room and laundry service in a spa, hotel, and/or salon location. Display good organizational and verbal skills. Establish a level of customer service to visitors, clients and staff. Be punctual, reliable and flexible with scheduling according to business needs. PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, and stooping all day. The employee must frequently exert up to 25 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. The Beverage Cart Attendant is responsible for the service of snacks, sandwiches, beverages and spirits, as well as the mixing of cocktails, on the golf course at designated locations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Accurately complete requisition and order coding, to maintain established par amounts. * Pick-up daily order and record transfers. * Keep bar cart clean and sanitary at all times. Keep storage areas clean and orderly. * Properly sanitize blender up, strainer, knives and pour spouts. * Pour accurate amounts of liquor and other beverages. * Transact the sale of snacks and beverages, accurately operating cash register. * Cook hot dogs. * Load cart with food and beverages. What you will do: * Facilitate Delivery Intake: Help ensure smooth transportation of the food delivered by the vendor from the loading dock up to the client's meal space. Ensure there are no missing items or meals. * Oversee Meal Set-up/clean-up: Guide and help with food layout, set up special equipment if needed, manage overall presentation, and replenish dishes. Breaking down and properly storing leftovers at the end of the meal service. * Maintaining Cleanliness/food safety: Ensuring that the serving areas remain clean and organized throughout the meal time. * Customer Experience: Greeting guests, interacting to ensure they are satisfied with the service, responding to requests, and addressing any questions/concerns they may have. * Meal Feedback: Take inventory of food before and after a meal, gather employee preference information, communicate with employees on site, and share feedback with HQ. Will also ensure that all golf carts are in pristine condition. Job Functions Golf Host will help deliver a first-class golf experience by greeting members and their guests to ensure their experience is memorable. Greet members and their guest upon arrival and departure on the range. Will also assist with bag storage, maintenance of the practice areas, and resetting the practice amenities throughout the day. Display friendliness and helpfulness at all times to Club members and their guests. Thoroughly clean and wash and sanitize golf carts, and stage them for play. Assist in managing the daily flow of traffic around the cart staging area and bag room. Maintain practice areas and keep them looking presentable throughout the day. Detail golf carts on a regular basis as directed. Observe all safety and security procedures. Use equipment and materials properly. Ability to work in a team environment. Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Department Supervisors. Closing duties to include but not limited to washing golf balls, restocking buckets, cleaning of golf carts (prior to parking in cart barn), plug all carts into a charging station. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to lift 40 lbs. Ability to work long hours, evenings, holidays, and weekends. Ability to remain on feet the majority of the workday. Education and Experience • High school diploma or GED
