About the role:
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. Here, a commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a plasma donor screener and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations.
How you will contribute:
· You will answer phones, and greet and focus on our donors, while ensuring the safety of donors and our team.
· You will screen new and repeat donors and take and record donor vital signs and finger stick results.
· You will use our Donor Information System, prepare donor charts, maintain accurate records, and coordinate donor compensation.
· You will help identify operational opportunities for continuous improvement and initiate changes to center processes using company approved procedures.
· You will be there for our donors, which includes working a variety of shifts, Saturdays and Sundays, and holidays.
What you bring to Takeda:
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
· Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
· Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
· Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
· Because of potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1), 90% of work tasks require prolonged glove wear

As the Maintenance and Utilities Technician V, you will perform advanced maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a variety of critical plant equipment. You will ensure the smooth operation of manufacturing and facilities equipment, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of Takeda's operations.
How you will contribute:
Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance on:
HVAC, chillers, boilers, air handlers, refrigeration systems, compressors, pumps, water systems
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair control systems, instrumentation, and mechanical systems
Maintain refrigerant logs per EPA/SCAQMD standards
Execute and close work orders (JDE system), including required documentation and Change Control
Escort contractors, support equipment startups, order/manage chemicals
Ensure compliance with NFPA, NEC, UMC, cGMP, and internal safety protocols
Respond to emergency/urgent utility issues and hazardous waste concerns
Participate in team meetings and instructor-led training
Demonstrate increasing technical proficiency over time
What you bring to Takeda:
High School diploma or GED required
8+ years of relevant industrial maintenance experience required
2-year technical certificate (HVAC, Utilities, Building Trades) or military equivalent; Class 3 Industrial Wastewater Certification strongly desired. Automation/controls experience (DeltaV, Honeywell) highly preferred
Experience interpreting schematics, manuals, job plans. Experience with PID loops, Lockout/Tagout, ACAC protocols
Basic understanding of GMPs and regulated environments. Familiar with CMMS (JDE, Maximo), Microsoft Office, SCADA
Important Considerations:
At Takeda, our patients rely on us to deliver quality products. As a result, we must follow strict rules in our manufacturing facilities to ensure we are not endangering the quality of the product. In this role, you may:
Carry up to 25 lbs., lift up to 50 lbs., and push/pull > 100 lbs. (with the assistance of material handling equipment).
Stand for extended periods of time over an entire shift.
Climb ladders and stairs while wearing special gowning.
Perform bending, twisting, reaching overhead, and/or squatting motions to perform certain tasks.
Work in controlled environments requiring special gowning. Will be required to follow gowning requirements and wear protective clothing over the head, face, hands, feet and body.
Will work in a cold, wet environment.
Work multiple shifts, including holidays and shutdown. Must be able to work overtime as required.

SUMMARY
The Cultivation Technician is primarily responsible for the care, maintenance, and monitoring of plants at various growth stages in the facility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Plant Care and Cultivation:
* Diligently follow daily feeding and care schedules as directed by Cultivation leadership.
* Consistently prune and repot crops to maintain uniformity and accuracy.
* Conduct routine inspections to identify and report plant pests or deficiencies.
* Provide harvest and post-harvest support including harvesting, and the dry, cure, and trim processes as needed.
* Administrative Tasks:
* Keep accurate records of nutrient mixes, equipment maintenance, and crop-related logs.
* Report plant movements and updates to the inventory and fulfillment department to maintain accurate records.
* Assists with inventory audits and reconciliation for all materials including department supplies, plants, products, equipment, and other tracked items as directed by Cultivation leadership.
* Facility and Equipment Maintenance:
* Responsible for maintaining and cleaning all cultivation department equipment and tools, including tables, reflectors, containers, mixing tools, application tools, and ventilation equipment, etc.
* Ensure the proper calibration, operation, cleaning, and storage of pH, EC, and PPM meters.
* Perform daily periodic housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, spot mopping, sanitizing surfaces, reorganizing stock, and maintaining an organized workspace as directed by cultivation leadership.
* Wet clean cultivation space for room flips and dry clean the area as needed to support the business.
* Properly dispose of waste materials at the end of each day.
* Department and Regulatory Compliance:
* Comply with all health and safety standards of operation of equipment, fertigation systems, environmental controls, water distribution system, etc.
* Complete all required training on cultivation SOPs and practice under the informed direction of cultivation leadership.
* Additional Duties
* Perform other duties as assigned by leadership to support the needs of the business.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
* High school diploma or equivalent - required
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in horticulture, botany, or a related field - required
* Knowledge of basic mathematics, computer skills, and agricultural principles - required

About the Role (Cultivation Technician II):
The Cultivation Tech II supports leadership initiatives and guides employees through the daily tasks which are vital to the ability to produce the highest quality cannabis. They are also responsible for disseminating information, providing regular supervision of Cultivation Technicians, and status updates to the Management team.
How you'll make a difference (required duties and responsibilities):
Team Management
* Daily supervision of a team of cultivation technicians.
* Motivates team members in alignment with the corporate values.
* Conducts meetings where tasks (job tickets) are assigned to the grow team and daily business updates are communicated, reporting back to management with a regular cadence on progress.
* Abides by safety policies and procedures. Provides feedback to the Safety Manager on how to improve the safety of the workplace. Completes all safety related reporting as needed in a timely manner.
* Maintains a clean, safe environment throughout the cultivation area and all shared employee facilities.
Cultivation
* Executes the IPM plan by regularly inspecting each cultivation room to chart progress and identify problems early on and ensures the execution of corrective action(s) and log events. Coordinates with the Director and Manager on any changes that may need to be implemented.
* Implements daily feed and care schedules as directed by Cultivation Management.
* Coordinates with the team to ensure consistency and discretion when crop pruning at various stages.
* Accurately maintains reports on all cultivation activities.
* Coordinates with the Cultivation management team to ensure that propagation activities to meet inventory requirements
* Coordinates and oversees waste destruction events and maintains accurate reporting.
* Conducts routine visual inspection of plants to identify any pests/deficiencies and reporting findings to Cultivation Managers
* Ensures that all cultivation equipment and supplies are on hand and ready for use. Notifies management through approved channels of any maintenance or inventory issues within a timely manner to avoid work stoppages.
* Proper usage, maintenance and storage of all tools and equipment, including but not limited to: shop vacuums, pumps, hoses, carts, scissors, loppers, stools, gloves, rags, etc.
* Monitors and documents daily: temperatures, humidity levels, pH, and any other metrics identified by the Cultivation Management team.
* Ensures that all metrics are recorded accurately and within a timely fashion. This includes, but is not limited to: nutrients, cloning, repotting, records of reservoirs, equipment and other crop related logs assigned by management.
* Participates in regular audits.
Technical Duties
* Capable of identifying plant health issues related to feed/fertilizers to management and executes corrective action(s).
* Participates in cultivation planning activities such as calendar layouts, propagation planning, analysis, and any other planning activities deemed necessary for the proper function of the business.
* Assists the management team with the maintenance of the Operations Manual and SOPs.
* Fluent or able to quickly obtain a functional knowledge of all company software platforms.
