ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: * Provide and coordinate care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs of patients, develop and implement nursing care plans, maintain medical records and educate patients and their families about various physical and behavioral health conditions. * Provide nursing care and services within the standards and scope of nursing practice as defined within the state Nurse Practice Act regulations, policies, procedures, and protocols, as well as facility and corporate policies and procedures. * Ensure physician's orders are legible if taken verbally and transcribed appropriately per policy and procedure. * Ensure patient's status is assessed on an ongoing basis and pertinent information gathered is documented. * Collaborate with others to ensure that all patients' physical, biopsychosocial, age, developmental, and cultural needs are met and when they are not met, acknowledges and works to resolve customer complaints. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS: * Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required. * One or more years of nursing experience within the clinical area of service provided by the facility is preferred. LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: * Current RN license as required by the state of OH * CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility). * First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements. Growing together.** As the Clinical Director, you will oversee and direct the patient care operations of the home care facility. This includes: coordinating and completing assigned projects to effectively support the immediate and long range objectives of the company; oversight of the eligibility of patients referred to home care services, planning for the services to be provided to patients and supervising their total home health care; implementing and maintaining administrative practices, agency philosophy, goals, and policies which assure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations; enhancing the profitability of the agency; and providing motivation and retention of a qualified staff and assure the quality of services delivered. This position also acts as a liaison with management staff and other departments throughout the company. **Primary Responsibilities:** + Coordinates and completes assigned projects to effectively support the immediate and long-range objectives of the company + Oversees the eligibility of patients referred to home care services, planning for the services to be provided to patients and supervising their total home health care + Implements and maintains administrative practices, agency philosophy, goals, and policies which assure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations. + Enhances the profitability of the agency; and providing motivation and retention of a qualified staff and assure the quality of services delivered + All CMS and state regulations must be followed regarding supervision of nursing services + If Clinical Director is not an RN, Executive Director/Administrator or Patient Care Manager must be designated as supervising RN for nursing services unless state regulations dictate otherwise You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. **Required Qualifications:** + Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice or PT/OT/SLP, must have current applicable license in the state + Current CPR certification + Current Driver's License and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation **Preferred Qualifications:** + 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience in home health setting or related healthcare setting + Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously + Able to work independently + Good communication, writing, and organizational skills Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $71,200 to $127,200 annually based on full-time employment.
