**Description:**
- Responsible for preparing a variety of menu items for cafeteria and catering services including but not limited to salads, condiments, fruit plates, vegetables plates, sliced meats, sandwiches, and preparation of raw ingredients. Assist chefs in food preparation including hot food preparation. Weigh, measure, cut, slice and safely use a variety of equipment. Initiate proper organization of work to assure efficiency and food safety. Ability to translate weights, measures and volume as required in execution of recipes to assure consistency based on volume and other variables. May adjust work location, tasks or assignments routinely throughout the day adjusting to business need as directed by manager(s) or team leader(s).
- Responsible for maintaining accurate and complete labeling and date marking of products to assure freshness. Maintains time and temperature records. Operates and cleans equipment following safety guidelines. Supports menu management process by following recipes and providing feedback for recipe improvement.
- Routinely delivers Restaurant Hospitality Standards. Communicates with integrated MKE restaurant team and customers through routine greeting. Responds to questions or concerns with the approach of immediate resolution regarding the impact of the customers experience. Comply with Restaurant Division Professional Conduct Expectations and maintains professional communication.
- A solid knowledge of weights and measures and the ability to read and interpret recipes is required. Position requires a high degree of personal initiative and motivation, combined with a willingness to work as part of a team and the ability to maintain a high level of organization while working quickly and productively. Must have the ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.
We are a team of 14 chefs and cooks preparing approximately 12,000 meals weekly for the awesome home office work force.
The schedule will routinely be 5:45am to 1:45pm M-F. NO evenings, weekends, or holidays!
**Requirements:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Minimum of three years of food production experience.
+ Demonstrated knowledge of and regular compliance with safe food handling standards.
+ Solid knowledge of weights and measures, and the ability to read, interpret, and translate recipes.
+ High degree of personal initiative and motivation.
+ Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a high level of organization while working quickly and productively.
+ Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

What You'll Do
Guide and assist with the installation of all fixture and Store Set-Up related components per merchandising layout and timing and action plan

Assist the Sr. Coordinator as they manage (and assist as required) the global process of Planogram implementation for the project (i.e. shelf installation, Planogram strip/peg master, proper label coding, allocation of product facings, signing and processing of overstock and discontinued items
Support the Sr. Coordinator with the execution of the timing and action plan and making modifications as needed (with Set-Up Project Manager approval) to minimize lost sales and to ensure timely project completion
Support the Sr. Coordinator as they conduct daily meetings with the Store Set-Up crew, Store Operations, Construction, Temp Labor, etc. to review the project status, daily task completion needs, staffing and any other issues/concerns related to the successful execution of the project
Assist the Sr. Coordinator as they train and supervise the 2ndAssistant (where applicable), Retail Merchandisers, Temp Labor and Store Operations support staff
Assist the Sr. Coordinator as they lead the final walk-thru with the DSM, GC, Store Manager and Set-Up Project Manager to capture all open WTBC items and ensure the project is not left until all actionable items have been addressed

Possesses full knowledge of food and beverage products served and utilizes suggestive selling techniques.
Takes orders and delivers food and beverage in a timely manner.
Ensures guests receive immediate, friendly, and personalized service to build their intent to return.
Guides guests through menus, answer questions thoroughly, and provides specific item suggestions and information about the establishment.
Maintains positive guest satisfaction by exceeding service expectations.
Handles guest complaints or directs them to a manager.
Operates point-of-sale system with a high-efficiency level and handles large amounts of currency.
Practices proper cash handling procedures by addressing the point-of-sale system after every transaction, properly organizing money, counting change back to guests, and following appropriate checkout procedures.
Sets up and breaks down equipment and supplies.
Maintains work areas by organizing and cleaning service stations and pre-bussing tables as needed of all used glassware/plate ware/silverware/etc.
Writes down all orders and inputs them into the point-of-sale system accurately.
Scrapes, racks, and stacks glassware/plate ware/silverware properly in the dishwashing area.
Acts as a final check on the quality of food and beverage items before they are served to guests and ensures appropriate garnishes and condiments are on plates.
Assists management in training new Staff Members within their department when applicable.
Completes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
Delivers and/or carries (with or without trays) food and beverage items, for own and others' tables, with a sense of urgency; knows all table numbers and floor plans.
When necessary, will occasionally assist the host person with greeting and seating guests.
Adheres to responsible alcohol service established by company policy.
Understands and utilizes all safety and sanitation practices as defined in the safety program and reports any accidents to management.
Performs other duties and tasks as assigned or determined by management or supervisors and moves with a sense of urgency.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
