The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina is currently accepting applications for The Citadel's History Department, to establish a pool for adjunct faculty assignments. Adjunct assignments may be temporary, part-time and/or on-call and may be immediate or as needed. Duties may include teaching undergraduate courses or online graduate courses in American History, European History, Military and Diplomatic History, Non-Western History or World Geography. Undergraduate courses are offered during the day in face-to-face or hyflex formats throughout the academic year (fall, spring, and summer); Graduate Courses are offered in the evening or online. All adjunct positions are part-time, temporary, and per session appointments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Abiding by and upholding the Citadel's mission, policies, and core values. Utilizing effective teaching and learning practices such as presentations, demonstrations, class discussion, and other appropriate modes of instructional delivery; preparing course outlines and syllabi in accordance with program standards and in collaboration with the program coordinator. Completing student assessments required for program completion; hosting weekly office hours; meeting all scheduled class periods. Being available to students for individual consultation; submitting midterm grades for Corps students; recording class absences for Corps students and submitting final grades by the specified due date. The Citadel requires faculty to submit midterm grades for undergraduate students. The Citadel requires faculty to use the Attendance and Class Absence System to document class attendance for undergraduate students.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Master's Degree in History is required to teach undergraduate history courses and a Master's Degree in Geography is required to teach undergraduate geography courses. A PhD in History is required to teach graduate history courses and a PhD in Geography is required to teach graduate geography courses. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills. Experience in designing courses and materials for face-to-face and online formats.

The Department of Pharmacology and Immunology at the Medical University of South Carolina invites applications for a full-time faculty position. The academic appointment will be at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the tenure track series.
The successful candidate will complement the diverse research portfolio of our newly merged department, which includes T cell biology and adoptive cellular therapy, neuroimmunology, autoimmunity, infectious disease, redox metabolism, glycoproteomics and multimodal spatial omics. Candidates conducting cutting-edge research in any aspect of cancer pharmacology or immunology are especially encouraged to apply, and current strengths in this area include T cell biology and metabolism, tumor microenvironment, target discovery, biomarkers, therapy, and the use of immune cells as a vehicle for therapy. Cancer focused faculty will be located in the Hollings Cancer Center, an NCI designated cancer center. Ideal applicants will be creative and collaborative scientists and will be expected to establish and maintain a rigorous extramurally funded research program, as well as to participate in our strong graduate training programs. The Department of Biological Sciences is seeking to fill adjunct positions to begin Spring 2026. If you are passionate about sharing your knowledge with others, consider joining TTC! Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, teaching day and/or evening classes, utilizing technology, and using various teaching methods in instruction. Learn more about TTC!To qualify for these positions, you must have at least a master's degree in biological sciences OR a master's degree with 18 semester credit hours in biological sciences at the graduate level. Adjunct faculty positions require the submission of unofficial transcripts with the application.
Candidates with teaching experience at the college level are preferred. Applicants must be capable of adapting to an environment that is constantly changing due to advancements in information technology. Qualified candidates may be assigned to teach biology lab and lecture courses. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.

The College of Charleston Department of Mathematics and Statistics invites
applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning August 2026.
Successful candidates' research and teaching areas will complement the
department. Preference will be given to candidates with strengths in areas that
support our Statistics and Data Science programs. This is the second of two tenure
track positions available in our department. Candidates can apply for both.
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in mathematics or a related field by the
employment start date. Since teaching, research and service make up the primary
responsibilities of the position, a record of and potential for excellence in these
areas, including directing undergraduate and graduate student research, make up the
basis for ranking candidates.
