POSITION SUMMARY: The Science and Mathematics Department is seeking applicants for adjunct faculty positions in mathematics. Classes are in-seat classes at Oxford High School as a part of RCU's Early College program. Required qualifications include a discipline-related master's degree or a master's degree and at least 18 graduate hours in the discipline. Candidates with terminal degrees and other specialized training are also highly desired. Adjunct contracts are less than part-time and made on a semester-by-semester basis, but often result in recurring assignments within a regular course rotation. Adjunct openings often occur on short notice as additional sections of classes open based on enrollment numbers. Applications are always welcome. The Science and Mathematics Department consists of five faculty members who share a vision to develop professionals that recognize the value of stewardship and care in God's world. Adjuncts are a significant part of our community and are invited to participate in department meetings, university activities, and mentorship initiatives.
