Required Qualifications: Associates of Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography with a minimum of 1 years of post-credentialed clinical experience; Active, unencumbered credentials to practice as a sonographer in the state of Ohio; Candidates must be able to utilize or be willing to learn instructional technologies; Strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors of Applied Science with a minimum of 2 years of post-credentialed clinical experience; Previous teaching experience in a clinical or academic setting; Candidates must be willing to collaborate with eLearning and the Learning and Teaching Center to ensure effective course delivery and create an engaging learning experience for students; Experience with or willingness to learn about innovative educational tools, including artificial intelligence platforms; Experience working with diverse student populations.

JOB SUMMARY
The Adult Education Instructor (Part-time) is a grant-funded position. John Carroll University's Grasselli Library and Breen Learning Center seeks an experienced and enthusiastic Librarian for Instruction and Faculty Engagement - Professor of Practice (POP). Unlike tenured faculty who focus on research, the POP focuses on teaching and working with students through a practical, hands-on approach. The successful candidate should have significant experience teaching and instruction in an academic library. POPs are expected to engage in service work for the university and the library.
Reporting to the University Librarian, this position will lead the library's teaching and instruction program. This includes responsibilities for designing, developing, delivering, and assessing instruction across the curriculum and the university, focusing specifically on critical thinking, information literacy, and generative AI. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of best practices, current trends, and new technologies in library instruction. Required Qualifications

Morning classes run M-F 8:30-1pm. Evening classes run M-TH 5:30-10pm.

We are looking for experienced Medical Assistants to become fully trained instructors to teach year round classes as Primary Scheduled Instructors and Secondary Instructors ready to step in as needed for teaching assistant and substitutes as needed. Our schools and classes run year round.

Medical Assistant Instructor duties include:
Teach in the Medical Assisting classroom with a maximum of 24 students, covering clinical and administrative skills.
Class sessions are 4.5 hours in either day or evening sessions.
Learning the material and delivering lectures and demonstrations, working from the Ross lesson plans and curriculum.
This is a part-time position, typically 9-18 hours per week.

Requirements
3+ years' experience in the medical assisting field and formal training from an accredited institution. Must be able to obtain a national certification as medical assistant. Individuals without a formal education, must have with a minimum of 5+ years' experience working in the medical field and a national certification. Additional requirements or exceptions may be applicable based on the state, program, and accreditation requirements.

Must be flexible and have a passion to learn and grow
