Advance Mechanical Contractors was founded in 1923, specializing in commercial plumbing, industrial plumbing, and process piping in the Long Beach and Los Angeles areas.
As commercial air conditioning became more prevalent in the 1930’s, Sam quickly realized the role of the heating contractor was going to change.
The company successfully completed many AC projects and, in 1945, Advance Heating became Advance Heating and Air Conditioning Corporation.
The 1960's were marked by projects that grew in size and complexity.
While construction adapted to the changes, Advance took the opportunity to expand and, in 1975, opened the plumbing division.
Rita joined Ken’s Plumbing in 2000 and has served as an administrative assistant.
These processes influenced our expansion in 2002 when the ventilation division was added.
In 2012, Advance Mechanical Contractors joined forces with H.L. Moe Co. and has expanded its service area into all of Los Angeles County.
She joined the Advance team with the acquisition of Ken’s in 2016.
