Responsibilities:
• Manage in-season OTB reforecasts using current sales trends and on-order data, delivering updated projections for sales, margins, inventory, and turn.

What will you do?
A day in the life of an eCommerce Planner on the Americas Commercial Team looks a little like this.
This position is responsible for the (demand, shipped and KPI) planning of JanSport for the America's Packs division including ad-hoc reporting for Packs. This role serves as a key liaison between buying, finance, and operations in the development of plans (sales, margin, receipts, inventory, and profitability) to achieve financial goals. They will participate in the strategic development and best practices crucial for sustaining and accelerating business growth. The eCommerce Planner reports directly into the Senior Digital Planning Manager.

Weekly/Monthly Business Management:
Own sales and margin planning process for our JanSport eCommerce businesses including monthly forecasts by working with our site, marketplace and buying teams.
Prepare and publish monthly eCommerce KPIs (demand revenue, shipping forecasts and profitability) and deliver actionable and timely ad-hoc analysis to help drive informed decision making for business-critical recommendations based on insights.
Communicate results to the broader organization and senior leadership teams.
Coordinate with Packs DTC planning team updating and distributing key reports.
Department and Category Planning:
Develop and manage OTB framework to guide the buying team on product strategies while maximizing sales and margin opportunities and limiting excess inventory.
Assist in promotional planning with the goal of aligning our site and financial forecast.
Work closely with our CRM team to incorporate key customer insights into our forecast.
Work with demand planning and logistics to forecast replenishment deliveries, communicating any strategy shifts to all teams measuring impact and quantifying issues as they arise.
Quarterly & Annual Budgeting:
Work alongside the Sr. Digital Planning Manager in the annual budget process in partnership with the marketplace, finance, and digital marketing teams.
Build monthly and quarterly plans to align with America's Packs annual financial, profit and inventory goals.
Work alongside the digital team with respect to the seasonal hindsight process addressing any financial risks and opportunities.
What do you need to succeed?

Additionally, while formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 3+ years of experience and professional achievements in financial merchandise planning.

The Wave Planner prepares and flows the workload throughout the shift and verifies that all orders are released in the order of departure time. / Leadership priority. This position primarily works in HighJump Warehouse Management System (WMS), but also may work on other applications and integration as required.
The Wave Planner helps control the flow of the workload to a team in their assigned functional area to execute assigned activities accurately, efficiently, safely and in a timely manner. The Wave Planner is the “point person” and provides continuous status & feedback to the Warehouse Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and process the wave(s) throughout the shift. Verify that all orders are released in the order of departure time and or leadership priority. Ensures loads are completed.
Monitor replenishment and picking to ensure that they are balanced according to the wave number. (Shift resources when applicable.)
Monitor shorts. (Run supplemental orders to capture items not picked the first time).
Manage wave cycle time.
Process the waves to ensure there isn't a work stoppage throughout the shift. Set-up next shift's wave work.
Communicate exceptions or potential service level misses to manager/supervisor in charge.
Ensures communication between Order Pickers and Replenishers for stock replenishment needs.
Coordinate with traffic/routing team to contact carriers and route orders.
Verify all outbound orders are noted in the outbound shipping log.
Review outbound shipping log to actual pickups and verify all orders have been picked up or call the carrier for an update.
Additional duties as described.
POSITION SPECIFICS:
This is a full-time position.
Shift start/stop times may vary depending on department and business needs. Initial schedules are not guaranteed to be permanent. Any changes will be communicated with at least two weeks' notice. Typical shifts are 8 hours but may require overtime as needed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position does not have any leadership requirements and/or responsibilities. This position does provide input to Warehouse Supervisors who will address any performance issues/concerns.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years' relevant experience.
Excellent technical, oral and written communication skills.
Strong Computer literacy, analytical and problem-solving skills.
WMS system knowledge (HighJump preferred).
Experience with freight routing and usage of routing guides, preferably with large retail companies (big box).
English/Spanish language fluency - both written & oral required.
Must be able to read & interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Candidate must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this job with ability to: stand for long periods of time; ability to become certified (if operating equipment); constantly move about the warehouse; pulling/pushing a cart containing cartons; bend/stoop/kneel/crouch to handle product; regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds; the ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations; and the ability to observe details at close range (within a few feed of the observer). This role works collaboratively with internal teams and the customer to determine the best solution based on a variety of considerations.
You will be expected to foster a deep understanding of our product and manufacturing capabilities to recommend furniture solutions as well as assist in developing process improvements pertaining to customer deliverables and contribute to marketing initiatives.
In this role you will also cultivate and maintain excellent cross-functional relationships with Sales Managers, Sales Reps, Account Managers, Marketing, and Operations staff to ensure that all processes are operating effectively and that communication is fluid.

Design and Layout
Utilize CET to prepare drawings that accurately reflect project specifications and to create renders.

Collaborate with the sales team to address project and customer needs.

In depth understanding of Watson standard and custom product offerings.
Maintain solid understanding of construction practices, building codes and ADA requirements.
