**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Lead the development and implementation of enterprise infrastructure architecture strategies across data center, network, database, and hybrid cloud environments.
+ Oversee the design and modernization of on-prem and co-located data centers to support operational efficiency, high availability, and disaster recovery requirements.
+ Provide strategic guidance on network architecture including routing, switching, firewall segmentation, and secure connectivity across cloud and on-prem systems.
+ Establish governance and architecture standards for infrastructure scalability, security, and performance across all environments.
+ Drive alignment with enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, security, and DevOps teams to ensure infrastructure solutions support current and future state goals.
+ Guide teams on implementation of software-defined infrastructure, automation, and self-service platforms to increase agility and operational efficiency.
+ Support lifecycle planning for critical infrastructure platforms including server, storage, networking, and database technologies.
+ Define enterprise infrastructure reference architectures and ensure alignment to compliance, regulatory, and corporate standards (e.g., ITIL, NIST).
+ Act as a key stakeholder in major infrastructure investments and projects, including cloud integration and digital transformation initiatives.
+ Mentor infrastructure architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
**Competencies (Behavioral and Technical Skill Requirements)**
+ Deep knowledge of enterprise infrastructure components including server, storage, networking, data platforms, and hybrid cloud.
+ Strong understanding of data center design, operational resilience, and high availability architectures.
+ Proficient in enterprise network design including WAN/LAN/SD-WAN, VPNs, segmentation, and cloud networking patterns.
+ Knowledge of public cloud (Azure, AWS), on-prem, and hybrid architectures, with experience designing transitions between them.
+ Understanding of enterprise database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) including architecture, replication, and resilience strategies.
+ Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with ability to align infrastructure capabilities to business needs.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Experience working in global, multi-vendor environments including managing off-shore and distributed teams.
**Education and/or Experience**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
+ 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in enterprise infrastructure architecture leadership.
+ Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure Architect, Cisco, VMware, ITIL).
+ Demonstrated experience leading infrastructure modernization, data center transformations, and hybrid cloud implementations.
+ Proven track record of building and leading high-performance technical teams.
