Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts. Operates drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation. Disassembles draft gears, slack adjusters, handbrakes for salvage of parts. Ensures areas are maintained according to 5S principles. Performs all duties of Material Handler or Laborer. The Production Technician supports the technical and creative execution of worship services, live-streams, and special events through hands-on operation and maintenance of audio, video, lighting, and stage systems. Technicians may manage the entire event lifecycle, from preproduction meetings with the host to postproduction procedures, including all related information. Understand signal flow and troubleshoot as needed to satisfy the end user's needs and escalate if necessary. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. Work with the Venue Space Escalation Team's supervision to complete simple repairs when necessary.
