How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) The Aircraft Support Mechanic (ASM) is a critical TechOps role at Delta. In this role, you will serve as part of the crew that helps maintain the proper and safe functioning of Delta's fleet, ensuring customers have an exceptional travel experience. ASMs work independently or as a team to accomplish tasks, and may assist Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) in technical or non-technical functions related to aircraft interiors (or other areas as needed).
This position is the perfect entry-level mechanic position. You will have many opportunities to work with and learn from experienced AMTs, who are in charge of inspecting, implementing, or overseeing maintenance and alterations of aircraft and aircraft systems. Under their mentorship, you will develop key knowledge and skills that will help prepare you to advance your career at Delta Air Lines.
Summary of responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):
+ Performs all work activities in accordance with established laws, regulations, standards, safety protocols, and procedures to ensure safety of self and others.
+ Conducts inspections to locate damage, defects, or wear that may affect safety, reliability, or customer experience, reporting issues as appropriate.

+ Installs, removes, or modifies aircraft structures, systems, or components, following drawings, schematics, charts, engineering orders, and technical publications.
+ Repairs worn, defective, or damaged parts or components (e.g., seat gears, tray tables, wiring/electrical), using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
+ Troubleshoots equipment or systems operation problems.
+ Interprets discrepancies or logs (written or verbal) to understand history and nature of issue, to troubleshoot issue, and to identify required next steps (e.g., fix, defer, replace).
+ Reads and interprets technical manuals and guidelines to perform inspections, installations, repairs, or other work activities.
+ Maintains repair logs, documenting all preventative and corrective aircraft maintenance activities.
+ Interprets and uses specifications, drawings, blueprints diagrams, schematics, or flow charts to determine operational methods or sequences and to complete work activities.
+ Researches manuals, flight logs, or other technical resources to gather information needed to complete work activities.
+ Practices safety conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

Responsibilities
Operates, monitors, and responds to normal and abnormal operating conditions of power plant equipment and auxiliaries.
Takes readings and maintains records and logs.
Records equipment problems on work notifications/requests and documents maintenance actions taken.
Perform water chemistry analysis and make feeds and adjustments to maintain proper chemical control. Work with water treatment vendor to properly monitor overall chemistry program.
Operate and regenerate water treatment equipment.
Assists in developing operating procedures.
Reads meters, gauges, or automatic devices to record data such as temperature of equipment, vibration, of equipment, hours of operation, pressure, and fluid levels to verify operating conditions.
Visually inspects and listens to equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication.

The University of Maine at Augusta invites applications for Part-Time Faculty at our Aircraft Maintenance Technician School (AMTS). The successful candidate will have experience with the subject matter in a wide range of aviation topics, including fixed-wing and rotorcraft.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to teaching and working with students one-on-one. The position will ideally be based at UMA's Brunswick Aviation Campus, Hangar 6, but we will also consider remote work candidates.
Qualifications
Required:
* FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certification
* Aircraft Maintenance Experience
* Teaching Experience
Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree
* FAA Aircraft Inspection Authorization Certificate
* Higher Education experience with curriculum writing and teaching
Salary: Salary is commensurate with qualifications and previous college teaching experience, in accordance with the PATFA contract.

Auburn Concrete has just celebrated 26 years in business as a family owned company. We currently have 9 Ready Mix locations in the state with a quarry to provide us with aggregate material and we continue to grow.
As a Level 3 Mechanic, your primarily responsible for diagnosing problems with different types of motor vehicles/equipment and making repairs accordingly. Duties may include:
Analyzing and tuning engines through the use of engine experience and technology
Diagnosing all failures of equipment, remove, and replace parts as necessary, and repair any and all mechanical and electrical issues that arise
Repairing or replacing damaged or worm parts on all equipment
Performing all necessary vehicle repairs as assigned
This position requires long hours (up to 65 hours per week) and Saturday availability during the busy season (May to October).

The base compensation range for this role is $36.14 - $42.17 per hour.

Perform various technical functions of aircraft maintenance, repair, replacement, and modification of key aircraft components to ensure proper operation. Perform aircraft maintenance and perform troubleshooting and repair duties requiring accuracy and skill.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential Functions:
* Perform required. maintenance and necessary servicing of all aircraftmechanical systems .
* Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot mechanical and functional components of the aircraft including airframes, engine components, landing gear, electrical components, and control systems .
* Coordinate with inspection to ensure compliance with internal and FAA inspection and documentation requirements .
* Properly complete work order sign-offs, shift turnovers, and other paperwork in a timely manner .
* Ensure that all work accomplished meets quality standards and specifications .
* Properly identify (tag) customer property and equipment. Store aircraft components and other customer property securely and safely .
* Follow standard operating procedures and JSAs when operating ground support equipment .
* Operate and oversee use of special support equipment used in removal and installations of major components .
* Coordinate with other departments to arrange for the overhaul or repair of customer property as needed .
Additional Functions:
* Apply 6S and Lean Initiatives to keep shops, hangars, and aircraft work areas clean .
* Properly use and maintain company-provided tools and equipment .
* Coordinate movement of aircraft, as required. .
* Maintain advanced knowledge of FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures .
Perform other duties as assigned.
Other Requirements:
* Advanced knowledge of inspection and maintenance procedures for various aircraft models and systems.
* Advanced knowledge of pertinent technical reference materials (maintenance manuals, IPCs, Service Bulletins, structural repair manuals, engineering drawings, ADS, etc.).
