Position Summary
The Onsite ProgramManager and Environmental Educator plays a key role in delivering high-quality, hands-on environmental education at the Alice Ferguson Foundation. This position supports the Education Program team by leading and managing on-site programs serving students from pre-kindergarten through college, as well as adults. Programs are grounded in Meaningful Watershed Educational Experiences (MWEE), Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), and environmental literacy, and explore topics such as watersheds, habitats, climate change, water quality, invasive species, agriculture, team building, and the natural and cultural heritage of the Potomac River watershed.
The Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of all on-site programs, working in partnership with the Director of Programs to schedule, coordinate, and finalize program details with schools and partner organizations. This includes serving as the primary on-site lead during day and overnight field trips-welcoming buses and chaperones, supporting educators, adjusting schedules for weather or program needs, and responding to medical, safety, or staffing issues. The Manager also supports evening and weekend programs, assists with kitchen and facility readiness, and ensures that program materials and supplies are well-stocked and organized.
In addition to teaching and program oversight, the position supports a wide range of Foundation initiatives, including litter cleanups, invasive plant removals, summer and spring camps, workshops, and community events. The Manager also oversees grant-funded projects, ensuring that program deliverables are met and reports are completed accurately and on time, and represents the Foundation to both new and returning participants, building strong relationships and positive community connections.
Programs run year-round, primarily on weekdays with occasional evenings and weekends. Some off-site programming may take place throughout Southern Maryland, Central Maryland, Northern Virginia, the District of Columbia, and surrounding areas.

Job Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:
Oversee compliance reporting and policy implementation for various Human Resources and Civil Rights laws and policies.

Maintain mandated reporter roster, provide training resources, track annual acknowledgments, and support mandated reporting requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Experience: Three years of progressively responsible experience working with compliance programs or other relevant state and/or federal regulations, collective bargaining, or policy administration.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing complex data and preparing reports.

The Department

The Position
The Senior Program Specialist position will work outdoors, performing routine weeding, pruning, and plant maintenance in the Madrona Marsh Preserve using hand tools such as pruners, soil knives, shovels, hand saws, loppers, shears, pole pruners, and pole saws. This position will also supervise and support volunteers doing habitat restoration and plant propagation work in the Madrona Marsh Preserve. The Senior Program Specialist (Madrona Marsh) will also supervise habitat restoration volunteer events at other locations in the City of Torrance, including the Henrietta Basin, the Seaside Heroes Park, the 236th and Arlington parklet, and more. This position will interface with two volunteer organizations: the Friends of Madrona Marsh and the South Bay Parkland Conservancy, both of which are heavily involved in restoration activities in Torrance. The Senior Program Specialist (Madrona Marsh) will help select work tasks for these volunteer events in consultation with the Madrona Marsh manager. They will transport tools and supplies to and from the worksites using City vehicles. They will collect the appropriate paperwork from volunteers for the events and ensure that it has been completed fully and accurately.

Education and Experience

* Provide day-to-day oversight and hands-on involvement of the Service for Seniors project over three year period, monitoring tracking and reporting data to review project progress and assessment to ensure long-term success. Track project participation numbers and transactions on excel spreadsheet.
* Plan packaging, delivery and pick up of produce boxes, and content rotation to record sales, cost savings, and organize information into yearly and monthly reports.
* Work closely with Torrance Certified Farmers' Market growers in purchasing produce, content rotation and organize information for reporting.
* Plan cooking demonstrations at Senior Centers, coordinate with Chef, plan distribution of seasonal recipes.
* Advertise Service for Seniors project on social media, create and disseminate flyers.

SCT seeks an experienced Project Manager / Program Coordinator (PM/PC) as key personnel on a proposal for training coordination, curriculum development, and instructor support for National Guard Military and Family Readiness Staff, consisting of approximately 54 State Family Program Directors, 549 Soldier & Family Readiness Specialists (SFRSs), and 214 Military and Family Readiness staff (Air National Guard (ANG)).
The Project Manager / Program Coordinator (PM/PC) is SCT's full-time, dedicated lead responsible for overall execution, compliance, and quality control of the National Guard Bureau (NGB) Military and Family Readiness Staff Training (MFRST) Task Order. This role has full authority to act on behalf of SCT for daily operations, serves as the primary Government-facing representative, and owns oversight of all task execution, deliverables, reporting, and coordination activities across all locations and training modalities
Core Duties
Provide overall management, coordination, and oversight of Task Order execution across all locations and training events.
Ensure compliance with all PWS requirements, performance standards, and deliverables, including Quality Control Plan (QCP) implementation.
Serve as the primary point of contact with the Government during normal hours of operation; ensure availability to COR-RA and COR-HRS.
Review Task Order execution to identify performance, funding, or execution risks and provide timely notification to the Government.
Exercise full authority to act for the Contractor on all matters relating to daily Task Order operations.
Coordinate and participate in post-award meetings, Interim Progress Reviews (IPRs), and required Government meetings; ensure preparation and submission of meeting minutes.
Oversee preparation and submission of required reports, including Task Order Status Reports (TOSR), After Action Reports, Annual Reports, and training-related deliverables.
Be onsite during Joint Orientation and Annual Professional Development Seminars as required and ensure after-action reporting is completed.
Designate an alternate PM/PC in writing to act during absences.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited US university, five (5) years of experience in military and family readiness programs and three (3) to five (5) years of programmanagement experience
OR
Fifteen (15) years of experience related to military and family readiness and staff training and management
Experience specifically related to military and family readiness programs
Ability to act with full authority on behalf of the Contractor in daily operations
Professional, effective communication with Government stakeholders, including CORs and KO
Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multi-location, multi-event training programs
Ability to oversee regulated deliverables, schedules, and compliance-driven reporting
Interpersonal skills and team building skills to effectively take part in instructional duties for National Guard Military and Family Readiness Program staff instruction
Proficiency in Microsoft Office - Teams, Forms, Power Point, Excel, Word
Favorable Tier 1 background investigation (NACI), with eligibility for CAC issuance if duties require system or installation access.

Associate Project Manager
Purpose:
Under general supervision, this position performs responsible and professional work by planning, developing, and implementing project efforts that utilize solutions for one or more small- to medium-sized or moderately complex projects. This position serves as liaison with contractors, consultants, and departments.
