The Court CaseManager 2 will serve as the in-court clerk for minor offense and grand jury proceedings; prepare the courtroom for hearings, test recording equipment, and review case files for prior or pending actions. You will announce the opening and closing of court proceedings, mark and maintain exhibits and lists, record court proceedings, and prepare an accurate summary. Jury clerk duties will include prepare and distribute jury schedules, juror notices, route requests for excusal and deferral to the judicial officer, and document juror attendance.
Additional responsibilities will include managing minor offense cases using CourtView/ OnBase to open, calendar, and close cases, perform records research and requests, and send and check mail at the post office once a day. You will be responsible for vital statistics duties and will assist the public in making marriage license applications and preparing marriage licenses for signature.
Providing outstanding customer service, this position will also assist customers at the front counter and over the phone, accept incoming filings, collect money and produce receipts for fines, fees, bail, etc.
The Work Hours
Full-time court employees are currently scheduled to work 37.5 hours per week. The work hours for this position are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.

This position will perform criminal casemanager and in-court duties and require you to assist court patrons in person and by telephone answering questions, providing court forms, and directions to available resources. Criminal CaseManager Duties will include preparing and posting daily calendars, pulling files and preparing necessary paperwork, receiving court filings, reviewing for conformance and completeness, and routing to the appropriate clerk. You will accept fines, restitution payments, bail and other revenue and trust, and issue receipts. In-Court Clerk
Duties will include preparing the courtroom for hearings, receiving and marking exhibits, maintaining witness lists, calendaring necessary hearings, and preparing and distributing court paperwork. The incumbent will be responsible for keeping accurate log notes and ensuring a clear recording of the hearing is produced.
Work Hours
The position will work 25 hours per week. The work schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
This position participates in the Supplemental Benefits System (SBS), Public Employees' Retirement System (PERS), accrues personal leave, and receives up to 12 paid holidays. The Position
This position is responsible for managing court cases from initiation to closure. Duties include reviewing and processing legal documents such as complaints, petitions, and orders to ensure compliance with court rules and procedures. The role involves assigning case numbers, issuing summons, making judicial assignments, collecting filing fees, and maintaining accurate case records in the court's computer systems. The incumbent will handle various case types including divorce, dissolution, domestic violence, probate, and child in need of aid.
They will prepare and distribute court notices and orders, coordinate with law enforcement for service of documents, and respond to public inquiries regarding court procedures, Alaska Statutes, and court rules. Additional responsibilities include routing pleadings to the appropriate court staff, preparing court forms, monitoring case files, and entering appeal cases into the system when assigned to Anchorage judges. The Work Environment

The Senior Services CaseManager Assistant is responsible for assisting in developing a Plan of Care/Assessment for services and coordinating services and support for seniors experiencing Alzheimer's and related dementias and frail conditions. Complete preliminary evaluation for eligibility determination for CaseManagement, Respite, Chore, Supplemental Services and Adult Day services.
Develop, implement and maintain Plan of Care/Assessment for eligible participants as well as perform reassessments annually or as necessary.
Communicate and coordinate with chore and respite providers to arrange for meet and greets and completion of Service Agreement, and to explain co-payment rates for services.
6. Assist in planning, implementing, and providing training to FRA Senior Services staff, families, caregivers, and the community.

Participate in writing quarterly newsletter.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in nursing, Gerontology, Social Work or related field preferred with background in long-term care and delivery of community-based services. Experience and/or specialized education may substitute for degree requirements on a year for year basis
One year of paid full-time work experience, with human services recipients and providers.
Two years' experience working with the public one-on-one and in groups, direct contact with families and/or the elderly, preferred.
Must meet agency insurance criteria for operating agency and personal vehicles on agency business (21 y/o and licensed 3 years)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Summary or Purpose
Under the direction of the school principal and/or assistant principal, the teacher is responsible for the implementation of research-based instructional strategies that direct the learning process and achievement of assigned students by developing, nurturing, and sustaining a school and classroom culture conducive to student learning. All instruction provided for students will be individualized. This means that differences in individual learning style, rate of learning, level of maturation, and level of achievement will provide the basis for instructional decision-making. To respond to these differences, it is expected that teachers will vary materials, rate of instruction, and methodology and these modifications will be based upon frequent assessment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain competency in subject matter areas of certification and assignment. There are instances where teachers are assigned to teach subjects outside of their area of preparation and training will be provided as needed.
Employ appropriate methods of assessment to identify student proficiency levels and subsequently plan short and long-range programs designed to accommodate those identified needs using student achievement data, both formative and summative, to determine effectiveness of instructional strategies.
Strive for harmonious and cooperative interpersonal relationships with students, parents, supervisors, administrators, staff, and community members. Required elements in interpersonal skills include flexibility, openness, warmth, genuineness, supportiveness, ability to listen, acceptance of constructive criticism, and cooperativeness.
Promote and support School District Goals as defined in the Board of Education Strategic Plan.
Participate in the activities of educational committees and organizations for the benefit of personal growth and the general promotion of the profession.
Develop an awareness of local culture and provide instruction that is bicultural or multicultural by responding to diverse community interests and needs.
Use Rubicon Atlas to complete requirements for culture-based unit development per annual expectations.
Supervise and train instructional paraprofessional in providing services to students as needed.
Abide by the code of ethics and the professional teaching standards adopted by the Professional Teaching Practice Commission of the State.
Write and submit weekly lesson plans to Principal and maintain digital copies throughout the year.
Adhere to all District policies and regulations.
Perform such other tasks and assume other responsibilities as the supervisor may assign.

Minimum Qualifications
Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Level 1:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college
AND
One year of paraprofessional or professional experience providing social assistance services to people with disabilities.
Or Substitution:
Graduate education from an accredited college in vocational rehabilitation, psychology, social work, guidance counseling, special education, or a closely related counseling discipline will substitute for the required experience (2 semester/3 quarter hours equal one month).
Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Level 2:
A master's degree from an accredited college in vocational rehabilitation, psychology, social work, guidance counseling, special education, or a closely related counseling discipline.
Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor Level 3:
A Certification in Rehabilitation Counseling (CRC) from the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification.
