I've been bulding my career in the Technology Information area since 1990, through all levels of positions (Trainee, Operator, Programmer, Systems Analyst, Coordinator, Project Manager, IT Manager, IT Superintendent and now as a CIO).

Due to my experience with the Education and Automotive Business segments I've developed my knowledge in the Insurance Business in which I have over 18 years of experience.

Since 1999 I've been responsible for team and people management, having acted as a coordinator and as a general and outsourcing project manager, later on I've acted as an account manager representing an IT Consulting Company before its clients, directing development projects, resources hiring and allocation. Following this period I grew inside Allianz Seguros from coordinator to director.

With great experience in forming and managing high performance teams, system architecture, governance, budget (managing, development and control), implementing better market practices/methodologies, inovation, internal and external auditing assistance, external (outsourcing, software factories and projects), system deployment, data migration and general system development.

It's worth mentioning the participation/leadership in great IT Projects:

- Extra management of the Allianz Seguros Architecture area for a year and a half, along with the leading of the Development Team, specially in the implementation of the Software Development Methodology based on 'Agile' for over 120 developers (8 technical managements);

- Complete EAI (Enterprise Application Integration) solution implementation between the all the systems used by the insurance company (136 systems);

- Participated in the Allianz Seguros Inovation Committee;

- Main responsible for the IT in a project of systemic platform exchange - from 30 to 4 systems in two years - over 350 thousand hours of systems development.

Luiz Rodrigo Cartolano is a Chief Marketing & Transformation Officer at Allianz Brasil and is based in San Paolo, São Paulo, Sao Paulo State, Brazil. He has worked as Strategy & Market Planning Manager - Allianz Brasil at Allianz Brasil; Chief Transformation Officer at Allianz Brasil; and Head of Project, Process and Quality Department at Allianz Brasil at Allianz Brasil. Luiz studied at Insper between 2011 and 2012, Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie between 2002 and 2006, and Fundação Getulio Vargas FGV between 2016 and 2018.
