Here, we go where our Sales team takes us. The conductor of that train is our Outside Sales Representative. The Outside Sales Representative is the focal point in establishing and maintaining working relationships with our customers. Expectations:
* Train, schedule shifts, and supervise sales associates.
* Coordinate the operation of the showroom by establishing goals for their sales associates.
* Set objectives, plan, organize, and direct sales associates to meet objectives and maximize their potential.

Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in a high volume retail management.
* Professional communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
* Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new programs.
* Strong mentoring, coaching and development skills.
* Proven track record of sales success in a retail environment desire to succeed within a revenue-driven atmosphere.
* Associates degree or greater preferred.
* Able to work a flexible schedule; including nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
Physical Requirements:
* Frequently move about the showroom over an 8-12 hour period to attend to customer needs.
* Walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time as customer needs dictate.

POSITION SUMMARY
The SalesManager ensures that the dealership meets its unit sales quotas and its gross objectives on a daily, monthly and yearly basis. S/he will ensure that the retail units sold produce sufficient gross to aid the dealership in reaching its profit objective on a monthly and yearly basis. S/he will accomplish these objectives through planning, organizing, coordinating and measuring these activities of the vehicle sales departments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The SalesManager is responsible for:
Hiring, scheduling and performance monitoring of all department staff;
Promoting a culture of engagement through an open-door policy and other strategies that invite employee input;
Actively supporting employee development through coaching and career development meetings with all direct reports. Training initiatives need to address technical as well as people skill development, and be consistent with manufacturer and Hoselton standards;
Supporting and monitoring adherence to Hoselton policies and procedures;
Staying current, complying with, and communicating all federal, state and local regulations pertaining to sales operations as appropriate;
Promoting teamwork throughout all levels of the organization;
Maintaining positive factory relations at all times.
Preparing department forecasts, setting objectives and developing plans to achieve them;
Monitoring and addressing negative operating trends in a fashion acceptable to the factory and executive team;
Assuring appropriate inventory by color, model and equipment based on a variety of customer and market analyses;
Processing and maintaining incentive assignments on appropriate vehicles;
Generating sales and gross profit that will equal or exceed determined objectives and goals;
Collaborating with Marketing on strategies to develop sales campaigns and other strategies to achieve forecasts and other departmental goals;
Controlling periodic spiff-based and other incentive programs to enhance profitability;
Monitoring and controlling all departmental expenses to maximize profitability;
Approving all weekly department compensation and managing employee paid time off ;
Leading by example, ensuring all Hoselton guests experience exceptional customer service;
Resolving all guest complaints in an efficient and positive manner; and
Ensuring all areas are clean, safe, organized, and professional.

As the SalesManager, you possess total ownership of the sales experience within your Saks Fifth Avenue store and occupy a critical role in the achievement of the company's objectives. Required Qualifications (Minimum Requirements):
Relevant experience and leading a team, with supervisory experience managing a team of direct reports
A proven track record of success managing a selling and operations workforce and achieving business results
Proficiency in utilizing available technology, including clienteling tools and social media (social selling), as well as Google Workspace programs, advanced proficiency preferred
History of building, leading, motivating, and coaching teams to achieve objectives
Excellent oral and written communication skills, structuring messages in a clear logical manner using the most appropriate communication medium
Strong attention to detail
May require standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds
Willing to work a flexible schedule based on business need, which will include evenings, weekends, and holidays
