MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide in-person consultations and troubleshooting to customers at the service counter on a variety of computers, computer-related equipment and other retail products sold in the store
Recommend various service solutions including, but not limited to, data backups, anti-virus, extended warranties, and support subscriptions
Identify, diagnose, and document hardware failure(s) or software problems on a variety of electronic devices including, but not limited to, desktops, laptops, mobile phones, TVs, and monitors
Assemble custom computers sold by our expert build-your-own (BYO) sales team
Understand and utilize technical manuals and support resources while maintaining appropriate technical certifications and vendor certifications, while keeping up to date on retail products and current technologies
Maintain a cash till, handle customer transactions, and maintain the department by ensuring a clean work area is maintained and inventory is accurately tracked
Provide timely, complete, and accurate information directly to customers via face-to-face, telephone, text, and email communication regarding their service event on a constant basis
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent with one-year related computer service repair or technical customer service experience strongly preferred
CompTIA A+ certification or Apple ACMT and ACiT certifications, or the ability to be certified within 90 days of hire. *Apple certifications highly desirable
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills combined with ability to multi-task and adjust priorities
Physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs., stand for prolonged periods of time
Shifts include hours after and after the store is open to the public and may also include mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

PURPOSE
The primary purpose of the position is to provide direct on-site emergency service, preventive maintenance and installation support to end user customers while ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations at end user customer sites using approved Bayer documentation;
Schedule and organize own work activities, ensure efficient operations;
Organize and re-order inventory valued at $20K to ensure quality work and low incident of defective or incomplete on-site customer visits;
Responsible for proper return of all defective inventory for replenishment;
Price service calls, offering discounts or converting to full contracts when needed;
Generate service revenue of up to $500K in given work group (Individual revenue responsibilities may vary);
Prepare and develop sales quotes and follows through to close the sale. Call end-user customers, purchasing agents and Bayer dealers to finalize and ask for the order;
Interfaces heavily with Service Admin/MSRC billing processors to ensure proper & timely invoicing. Responsible to assist in collection activities within a given territory;
In some cases, generates customer interest and communicates to Service Marketing Rep;
Generates and communicates sales leads to respective sales rep for new product or disposable opportunities;
Maintain company car, oil changes, tire rotation, etc. and tools in good working order valued at $35-$45K;
Ensure all proprietary info is safe guarded from non-Bayer personnel, includes: Service & Training Manuals, Diagnostic and Calibration software, BIT keys, ect.
WHO YOU ARE

Associate's Degree in Electronics, IT Networking, Computer Science or relevant discipline required with 2 years of applicable experience or Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline;

Description
Provide installation/product support in house and out in the field for product lines of ACO, Inc.
FIELDSERVICE ENGINEER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
Visit job sites to instruct/assist contractors on the proper way to install products and to repair or make changes to fabrications and correct mistakes.
Diagnose construction problems on site.
Oversee repairs and technical improvements.
Take calls from customers and company employees concerning installation and other product issues.
When not traveling, spend time learning how the product is made in Fiberglass, Metal, and Polymer.
Assist manufacturing in quality control of custom production of fiberglass and stainless steel.
Quality control checks on finished products
Draft and submit reports to Sales and Operations.
Other duties as assigned or directed.
FIELDSERVICE ENGINEER EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 5 to 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Concrete construction experience
Heavy Civil experience

Essential Functions

Skills and Experience Requirements
Must have a strong diesel engine, hydraulic and electrical background

Manufacturer's training will be an integral part of this position. Qualifications
Requirements:
Must have a stable work history, no more than two jobs within the past three years
3 years of Belting Installation / Fabrication experience.

Take lead on jobs, mentor crew, and work in a manner that ensures the safety of all crew members.
Basic hand tool familiarity required, including knowledge, use, and understanding of a tape measure and units of measurement.
Thorough understanding of OSHA workplace saftey and PPE requirements.
Must be detail oriented and able to write clear and concise reports for customers
Must be dependable and able to work flexible shift schedule (on call when necessary)
High School diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Overtime hours and weekend work is required
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

Provide in-person consultations and troubleshooting to customers at the service counter on a variety of computers, computer-related equipment and other retail products sold in the store
Recommend various service solutions including, but not limited to, data backups, anti-virus, extended warranties, and support subscriptions
Identify, diagnose, and document hardware failure(s) or software problems on a variety of electronic devices including, but not limited to, desktops, laptops, mobile phones, TVs, and monitors
Assemble custom computers sold by our expert build-your-own (BYO) sales team
Understand and utilize technical manuals and support resources while maintaining appropriate technical certifications and vendor certifications, while keeping up to date on retail products and current technologies
Maintain a cash till, handle customer transactions, and maintain the department by ensuring a clean work area is maintained and inventory is accurately tracked
Provide timely, complete, and accurate information directly to customers via face-to-face, telephone, text, and email communication regarding their service event on a constant basis
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or equivalent with one-year related computer service repair or technical customer service experience strongly preferred
CompTIA A+ certification or Apple ACMT and ACiT certifications, or the ability to be certified within 90 days of hire. *Apple certifications highly desirable
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills combined with ability to multi-task and adjust priorities
Physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs., stand for prolonged periods of time
Shifts include hours after and after the store is open to the public and may also include mornings, nights, weekends and holidays

We are currently seeking self-motivated, results-driven RETAIL COMPUTER TECHNICIANS, starting at $15/hour base pay with productivity incentives to increase hourly rates up to $18-$35 + SPIFFs. You'll be spending up to half your time at the Service Counter, where you will be easing customer concerns by walking them through their comprehensive service options that will result in repeat customers for life, all while having the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions. The rest of your time will be spent in the shop diagnosing and repairing various computer devices and providing constant communication to your customers regarding their repair status.

Responsibilities
Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to internal and external customers.
Travel daily to assigned service locations in a company-provided vehicle.
Perform a range of vehicle services including diagnostics, calibrations, programming, scanning, and wire/connector repair.
Ensure all services-particularly calibrations-are clearly documented, required per OEM guidelines, and approved prior to execution, in alignment with company policies.
Conduct test drives to verify system functionality and confirm successful repair outcomes.
Provide excellent customer service by:
Managing difficult situations with transparency and urgency.
Communicating promptly and professionally with shops and internal stakeholders.
Escalating concerns when needed.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions as assigned.
Properly care for, maintain, and secure ATE-issued tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Stay current on ATE and OEM protocols through required training and Champions Connect updates.
Travel daily to service locations and meet productivity and quality goals.
Accurately manage documentation and complete final billing before leaving the site, per MCP guidelines.
Work assigned schedule including Saturday coverage as required by market needs.
Maintain flexible availability to meet customer service commitments across all assigned business days.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2-5+ years of automotive experience servicing and diagnosing a wide range of vehicle systems.
Strong working knowledge of ADAS and electrical services, including calibrations (levels 1-3), programming, diagnostics, and wire/connector repair.
Proficient with electrical diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, power probes, and resistors.
Ability to perform and interpret vehicle health scans using both factory and non-factory tools.
Skilled in reading and interpreting OEM and aftermarket service information and wiring schematics.
Ability to program vehicle modules using factory or approved non-factory software.
Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain technical findings.
Technologically savvy, with proficiency in platforms such as Outlook, Teams, and Word.
Strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency, self-motivation, and a positive, professional representation of the ATE brand.
Must be a continuous learner, eager to develop new skills and grow within the role.
Comfortable working independently in fast-paced, shop environments.
Willingness and ability to travel daily to service locations (local/regional) using a company-provided vehicle.
Saturday availability required on a rotating basis (typically every other Saturday, 9 AM - 12 PM or as scheduled)
Flexible Saturday schedule availability to ensure continuous market coverage
Ability to work flexible schedule including Saturdays to support business operations.
Must have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in automotive shop environments.
