The Adoption Coach collaborates with subject matter experts to develop and deliver effective training to clinicians and ensure optimal and most efficient use of the EHR and other IT assets in an effort to lead to higher physician satisfaction and adoption of the technology. The Clinical Adoption Coach I provides the pertinent specific EHR domain capability to ensure continuity of the platform. This role is critical to ensuring the translation of current vs future state work flow in the implementation of new technology and optimization of current technologies. The Coach is also responsible to implement mitigation strategies and escalation if an end user is challenged with adoption and/or the execution of change management. They are required to be a resource to Super Users, At-The-Elbow (ATE) during implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives. The position requires a working knowledge of clinical documentation workflows, within an Electronic Health Record (EHR) and is responsible for training within various EMR systems. Must be able to teach and develop new workflows and adapt the technology within a variety of applications. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation. Works under moderate supervision. This position requires on-call responsibilities which includes nights/weekends rotation shifts. Uses facilitation and presentation skills to engage class participants in the learning activity professionally and effectively. * Creates and distributes training procedural manuals and supporting documentation for training programs and clinical information system implementations. * Remains current on developments in training and instructional methodologies, including technology enhancements, and incorporates these developments into the education and training programs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Wellness Center Operations: * Runs programs in adherence to the Association operating policies and procedures. * Cleans fitness equipment and any wellness related rooms/areas each shift, or as requested by supervisor/leadership. * Logs any broken equipment and communicates findings to the Wellness Director. * Ensures that the highest quality of service is provided to all members and guests. * Performs any other duties as assigned by the Wellness Director or leadership staff. * Follows YMCA policies and procedures regarding proper workout attire, footwear, safety, health and welfare of members, program participants, guests and staff; responds to emergency situations in accordance to facility policies and certification requirements. * Completes all job related meetings and trainings as required. * All job related certifications are maintained and kept in an active status.
