Building global service standards, SLAs, operating rhythms, and training programs that ensure consistent quality across a decentralized team.
Partnering closely with every Recruiting function at OpenAI to support high‑impact, highly confidential, and fast‑moving searches.
Building global workflows and systems for complex, multi‑loop, or emerging talent profiles where no existing playbook exists.
Improving and operationalizing scheduling, load balancing, shadowing, interviewer readiness, and onsite experience programs.
Collaborating with Internal Tools and People Innovation Lab to embed AI‑first practices into every aspect of coordination and experience.
Driving continuous process improvements that reduce friction, increase fairness, and scale effectively with company growth.
Establishing and reporting on key metrics such as SLA performance, throughput, scheduling efficiency, load distribution, and candidate CSAT.
Partnering cross‑functionally with Executive Operations, People Analytics, Workplace, IT, HR Ops, and Recruiting Leadership to ensure fast, smooth execution across all hiring workflows.
We're seeking:
7+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, candidate experience, or recruiting operations.
5+ years managing and developing large, globally distributed coordination or operations teams.
Experience supporting and partnering with Executive, Research, and Technical Recruiting teams.
Proven ability to design and operate both bespoke, high‑touch candidate journeys and scalable global processes.
Strong proficiency with modern recruiting tools - experience with Ashby and Guide is a strong plus.
A systems‑thinking mindset with the ability to build clarity and structure in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and levels.
Comfort experimenting with AI‑driven tooling and workflows to increase efficiency and quality.
Deep empathy and a commitment to fairness, consistency, and exceptional candidate care.
