We're looking for a Visual Product Designer with exceptional visual craft, strong systems thinking, and the ability to turn sophisticated ideas into elegant, accessible experiences. As a key member of our design team, you'll elevate the visual language of AAIS - shaping design systems, defining expressive patterns, and art-directing how our products feel and communicate. You'll balance precision and experimentation, working hands-on in Figma, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Cloud, Keynote as well as more AI-specific creative tools to deliver design assets and presentations that inspire teams and delight customers.
Key job responsibilities
Define, evolve, and maintain visual design systems that express AAIS's design language across AI-driven experiences.
Create visual narratives - layouts, iconography, motion cues, and conceptual illustrations - that bring clarity and emotion to complex workflows.
Collaborate with interaction designers, design technologists, and engineers to ensure designs are both beautiful and buildable.
Provide art direction and visual critique across projects to raise the design bar.
Partner with product and engineering leaders to shape roadmaps that balance innovation and usability.
Present design work with clarity and confidence to peers, stakeholders, and senior leadership.
Advocate for Customer Obsession, Invent and Simplify, and Deliver Results in every stage of the design process.

Founded in 2025, our growing team of designers, technologists, researchers, and managers creates intuitive, AI-driven experiences across sectors including customer engagement, global logistics, and healthcare. We also support secure work solutions and foundational engineering services that help ship innovation at scale. Our future-forward products integrate seamlessly into customers' workflows and elevate how people work, collaborate, and interact with emerging technology.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience in visual design demonstrated through design concepts, case studies, documentation, mockups and style guides
Knowledge of typography, design principles, trends and best practices across digital and print
Have an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devices
Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar
Preferred Qualifications
Experience art directing motion designers, illustrators, writers and content creators
Experience leading design teams in problem definition, artifact rendering, cross-functional collaboration and delivery, and user validation and measurement
Experience working in a collaborative team environment to deliver high-quality design solutions
Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $184,000/year in our highest geographic market. · Design a wide range of creative assets on a variety of internal and external initiatives and campaigns - including social media, email campaigns, direct mail, branded merchandise, event materials, infographics, website graphics, motion graphics and more
· Be a go-to brand steward and expert in applying guidelines to various forms of internal and external communications materials and platforms
· Learn and share best practices and encourage creativity with all marketing team members, staying abreast of and applying design trends · Ensure timely reviews and approvals before distribution of assigned projects
· Initiate and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions
· Work together with team to transform ideas into actionable deliverables, assets, and cohesive campaigns
· Aid in developing brand style guides and style treatment boards for campaigns
· Source materials and coordinate production with third-party vendors for standard print projects, direct mail, large-format printing, promotional materials, apparel, promotional items, trade show booths, and event assets · Collaborate with individuals across a variety of teams to develop creative solutions for our company, partners, and clients

Location: This team member will work out of the Kansas City, MO office located in the River Market district. Other office locations would be considered. The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting.
