American Councils company history timeline

1974

ACE’s College Credit Recommendation Service (CREDIT®​) was created in 1974 to include civilian work-related education and now services a wide array of post-traditional learners.

Since 1974, our educational portfolio has grown to include 90 countries important to national security, prosperity, and peace.

1982

In 1982, ACE began publishing an annual status report on minorities in higher education.

1987

Then, in 1987, the Commission on Minority Participation in Education and American Life was created, emphasizing the issue of minorities in higher education.

2018

The 19th All-American Council took place July 23-27, 2018 in St Louis, MO. Its principal decisions were to maintain the established periodicity of the All-American Councils at three years and to continue proportional giving for funding the Church Administration.
