Actively participate in the completion of assurance and tax procedures. Complete financial statements audits, reviews, tax returns, and other miscellaneous projects for clients in various industries. Tasks:

Prepare financial statements and other related documents.

Requirements
Requirements of this full-time position include but are not limited to:
Master's Degree in social work or a related human services field from an accredited college or university
Florida license in mental health, social work or marriage and family therapy
Must reside in the state of Florida
At least 1 year of experience providing clinical services to children and families
Successful screenings through local law enforcement, Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement, and FBI; and pre-employment drug screen.
Must complete all credentialing requirements as outlined by IMPOWER, funder requirements and the Council of Accreditation which includes submitting documentation and completing applications for all IMPOWER funders, without exception, within 30 days of day of hire.

The Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) is the state agency in Massachusetts responsible for providing an attorney when the state or federal constitution or a state statute requires the appointment of an attorney for a person who cannot afford to retain one. The agency provides representation in criminal, delinquency, youthful offender, child welfare, guardianship, mental health, sexually dangerous person, and sex offender registry cases, as well as in appeals and post-conviction and post-judgment proceedings related to those matters.
YOUTH ADVOCACY DIVISION OVERVIEW
Youth Advocacy Division (YAD) Trial Offices
Interns will work with lawyers committed to ensuring that every child in Massachusetts had access to zealous legal representation, which incorporates a Positive Youth Development approach, in delinquency and youthful offender cases. Interns will assist lawyers and work closely with social workers to represent juveniles. YAD provides effective representation in court as well as educational advocacy and individualized referrals to community-based resources. This unit will provide interns with a wide range of opportunities, including, but not limited to, legal research and writing, arraignment and bail advocacy, pretrial investigations including visiting crime scenes, and locating and interviewing witnesses.
Juvenile Appeals Unit
Interns will assist Youth Advocacy Division Appellate attorneys who oversee a panel of skilled and zealous private lawyers representing clients in two distinct types of assignments: direct appeals and screenings. These assignments arise from delinquency, youthful offender and juvenile murder cases. We collaborate with the adult Private Counsel Criminal Post Conviction and Appeals Unit on “emerging adult” cases, where individuals were between the ages of 18 and 25 at the time the offense was committed. Interns will have the opportunity to do legal research and writing, policy discussions, and assist in developing and implementing trainings.

Fall River was once the leading textile manufacturer center in the country and maintains the world's largest collection of World War II naval vessels at Battleship Cove. New Bedford is home to the Whaling National Historic Park. Hyannis is known as the gateway to esteemed Cape Cod and is home to the iconic Kennedy family compound. The area offers beautiful sand beaches, numerous state parks, and quaint towns with picturesque harbors.

NORTHEAST REGION
The Northeast Region is filled with history. Lowell is known as the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution and is known for its textile manufacturing with many of these historic manufacturing sites preserved by the National Park Service. During the Cambodian genocide, the city took in an influx of refugees, leading to Lowell having the second largest Cambodian-American population in the country. During the American Revolution, the citizenry of Malden were heavily involved in the early resistance of the oppression of Britain and was the first town to petition the colonial government to withdraw from the British Empire. Malden is five miles northwest of Boston and conveniently accessible from the Orange Line. Salem is one of the most significant seaports in early American history and it is well-known for its role as the location of the Salem Witch Trials.

The area is famous for all of its “first innovations” including basketball, volleyball, American gas-powered automobile, motorcycle company, commercial radio station, use of integrated parts in manufacturing, railroad sleep car, and the American dictionary. The city of Worcester became a center for the American Revolution that was recognized for his industry and as a result attracted many immigrants of European descent. The city of Springfield was designated by George Washington for an Armory that became the site of Shay's Rebellion and is now a national park and site to the world's largest collection of historic American firearms. The city played a pivotal role in the Civil War as a stop for the Underground Railroad.

WJE offers a robust, total compensation structure, where the hourly rate is just one component of an employee's annual earnings. Additionally, employees may be eligible to receive overtime and variable compensation based on personal and company performance, often resulting in above-market annual earnings. Actual hourly rate will be based on several factors including consideration for a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role while remaining mindful of our commitment to internal equity. A good faith estimate of the starting hourly rate (gross) for this position is in the following range:
$17.00 - $35.00

Pine Tree Legal Assistance is a statewide, non-profit organization committed to providing high quality, free, civil legal assistance to people in Maine. Pine Tree advocates to help Maine's most vulnerable residents overcome pressing problems of everyday life - domestic and sexual violence, homelessness, economic insecurity, financial exploitation, and more. Pine Tree is committed to access to justice for all Mainers, maintaining six offices throughout the state.
Summer internships at Pine Tree provide an opportunity for law students to work on a wide range of civil legal issues facing low-income Mainers. Students will work with attorneys and advocates to respond to the immediate needs of individual clients. Student responsibilities often include client intake, client communication, fact development, legal research, memo and brief drafting, litigation preparation, and other case work. Students will have the opportunity to observe staff in court proceedings, and students who have completed their 2nd year of law school may have the opportunity to appear in court on behalf of clients. Students will work under the supervision of experienced attorneys based in one of Pine Tree's offices. Internships will be in person with the possibility of some remote work.
