SUMMARY
Host will be responsible for the accurate data entry of Players Club members, assist guests in the formal application process by explaining the benefits of being a member. As well as assisting the promotions department with current promotions, this position will set up new accounts, issuing comps for current promotional days and prize redemption.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Greet and inform all guests of all benefits of the Player's Club program.
Opening/closing booth and related tasks.
Perform data entry/processing duplicate account information.
Print player cards.
Maintain award and card inventory as well as other stock items.
Answering a multi-line telephone system, transferring calls, and taking messages.
Explain operation of card in slot machine and at Table Games.
Describe award levels and record award redemptions.
Staff relief and assist in promotional theme nights and player development.
Review promotional data for guest information.
Assist guests with guest comment forms.
Responsible for drawings, accounts tagging and logging of winners.
Complete all tasks related to corporate group redemption
Explain passbook coupons for inquiring guests.
Review posted memos.
Make announcements.
Daily cleaning of workspace, booth and PC storage including but not limited to vacuuming gift shop and players club, clean cabinets, clean drawers.
Read and memorize all promotions.
Clean and fix printers/card printers.
Perform after hour duties in Coat Check including but not limited to check and retrieve coats, straightening coats, clean and organize work area.
After hours Valet distribution.
Inventory and stock Players Club.
Willingness to cross-train and provide support in related areas of operations.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Must have excellent customer service and communication skills both verbal and written. Must be a team player with a positive attitude. Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks at one time. Must be able to complete tasks and projects in a timely manner by prioritizing obligations and time. Must respond to supervisory guidance and assignments and accept constructive criticisms in order to learn new, updated information. The needs for quickness and ease of adjustment to the work environment and flexibility to change are essential in this position. Climbing a ladder may also be required. The employee will be frequently required to walk out on the casino floors and interact with the guests.

The team is looking for someone with a passion to deliver on our high standards for customer service, while working as part of a small, cohesive team. As a Banquet Server you will:
Ensure proper set-up of tables and bars in assigned meeting room according to Banquet Event Order
Deliver and serve food and beverages, including, but not limited to meals, condiments and accompaniments.
Ensure guest satisfaction by monitoring guests needs on a continuous basis
Promptly remove dishes from tables at conclusion of meal period and delivers to stewarding area
Open and serve wine or alcoholic beverages as directed.
Clean banquet rooms and banquet areas during and after functions
What it Takes
Age requirement of 18+ required
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Must be able to obtain TIPS Certification
Familiar with various types of services -plated, buffet, working lunches, etc.
Knowledge of all liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware and garnishes
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written and customer service skills
Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
Work extended/non-standard hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Be a great listener and team player

SUMMARY
It is the beverage server's responsibility to create an enjoyable experience that far exceeds the guest's expectations. The goal is to provide the guest with positive, prompt, professional, friendly beverage service to generate repeat business. Position requires working in a fast-paced exciting environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide high quality guest service by welcoming and greeting guests with a positive, professional attitude
Provide beverage service in a timely manner
Use suggestive selling; always serve bar beverages responsibly, and within legal guidelines
Work safely and efficiently utilizing equipment, techniques and products
Accurately accounts and reconciles revenue
Perform all side work duties, which may include opening, on-going, and closing duties
Communicate with supervisor and team members regarding shift activities, problems and product concerns
Remain updated on current casino and department promotions
Maintain sanitation, safety, security, and personnel policy standards at all times
Follow security and surveillance protocol when necessary
Assist bartender and supervisor as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
Willingness to cross-train and provide support in related areas of operations
Other related duties as assigned
OTHER NECESSARY SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have excellent guest service and communication skills, both verbal and written

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Must be 18 years of age or older. Experience in hospitality industry preferred.
Customer service skills and experience is a plus. Must be knowledgeable of Michigan Liquor Control Commission Laws.
