Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of MEP engineers.
Foster a collaborative team environment and ensure the team is well-trained, motivated, and equipped to meet project goals.
Project Oversight & Management:
Manage the planning, preconstruction, Construction and Closeout of MEP systems across various projects (commercial, healthcare, industrial, etc.).
Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure the successful integration of MEP systems are in line with project timelines and specifications.
Ensure that MEP systems meet all regulatory and safety standards
Track and report on project progress, identifying potential risks and mitigating issues before they impact timelines.
Preconstruction
Conduct Early-stage project planning, budgeting, and scope review
Perform constructability reviews and scope review to ensure design and budget adherence
Work with Operations to develop procurement strategies and schedules
VDC Cross Coordination
Participate with in house Virtual Design and Construction efforts across all trades project
Attend interdisciplinary coordination meetings to detect and resolve design clashes
Align digital construction models with construction progress and planning
Market-Place Relationships
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholder in Batson Cooks construction markets.
Owners - Build relationships focusing on project goals, budget, and expectations
Trade Partners - Grow and maintain partnerships focusing on schedule and execution quality
Engineering Firms - Coordinate design deliverables and issue resolution
Technical Expertise & Quality Control:
Provide technical guidance and support to the project team on MEP systems planning, installation, and troubleshooting.
Ensure all MEP systems are installed according to relevant codes and standards.
Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure the highest standards are maintained.
Communication:
Maintain clear communication with clients, stakeholders, and project teams regarding project milestones, budgets, and timelines.
Liaise with building departments and consultants to ensure project certificate of occupancy needs .
Health Safety & Environmental Compliance:
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations during the installation, operation, and maintenance of MEP systems.
Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all team members follow best safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or Building Construction
A minimum of 8 years of experience in managing MEP projects (Healthcare, data center, commercial high rise, higher education)
Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, installation, and troubleshooting.
Proven track record of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills.
In-depth understanding of relevant regulations, codes, and industry standards.
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and manage conflict effectively.

Overview:

Conducts in-depth research and statistical analysis of the AFDC issues. Present critical observations, findings and recommendations on AFDCpolicies, procedures and regulation, and their effect on the residents and the District.
Communicates and collaborates with government officials within and outside of the District government, and private agency representatives to advise and/or acquire information necessary to implement the Age-Friendly City Initiative for the District of Columbia.

The individual will assist with submitting extramural funding proposals, operationalizing and activating clinical trials, and will play an integral role in the development and expansion of the program.
The Neuroimmune Psychiatry Research Program studies the relationship between infection, inflammation, immunity and neuropsychiatric disease to improve diagnostics and therapeutic interventions. Research studies recruit from Dartmouth Health's Neuroimmune Psychiatric Disorders Clinic, an international leader in the treatment of these disorders. Investigators within the program also work closely with external partners at a national and international level.
The successful candidate will have experience with a) federal grant proposals in a coordinator, supervisor or central office role and 2) regulatory compliance workflows. The position will be accountable for the supervision of assigned clinical research personnel, assessing protocol feasibility, managing study lifecycles, identifying potential funding opportunities, and designing and providing training programs for clinical research staff.

Responsibilities
Establishes project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards for assigned projects.
Leads Project Management Team sessions and reviews with Center staff and faculty, including all levels of management.

Initiates and maintains liaison with Center management team and other contacts to facilitate project activities.
Manages multiple, parallel projects using formal project planning techniques.
Represents Center in project meetings and attend strategy meetings.
Responsible for the oversight and management of resources allocated to your project.
Establishes effective coordination and communications processes to report as a minimum, schedule, performance, costing, risks and mitigation strategies.
Maintains and adheres to project deadlines, timelines, and deliverables.
Compiles project status reports. Develops and writes project process and outcome reports.

Qualifications

Position Qualifications

The position can be based in Houston (hybrid or remote DOE). As a key member of the team, this role will play a crucial part in supporting our clients by providing air permit and compliance solutions.
The selected candidate may be responsible for supporting a variety of air quality projects, including but not limited to the following:
New source review (NSR), including case-by-case NSR, permit by rule (PBR), and standard permits (SP)
Assistance with non-attainment NSR (NNSR) and Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) permitting
Title V permitting
Emission modeling, emission calculations, and emissions inventory development
Best available control technology (BACT) assessments
Regulatory applicability analyses, for local, state, and federal requirements
Additional responsibilities for this role include:
Quality control of personal work
Effectively communicate with both internal and external customers
Develop and maintain trusting professional relationships with clients and our staff; and

YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS
B.S. or above from an accredited college or university in an engineering or a related scientific discipline
