Prior to Reed Elsevier, he worked at Bain & Company. He engaged on strategy and operational improvement efforts with companies in software, manufacturing, retail and services. He also loved his 3 years with 3M Company (NYSE: MMM) in its prestigious Optimized Operations program working as a chemical engineer and manufacturing engineer on manufacturing improvement projects across the globe. Darrell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
