Maintain business climate awareness and industry knowledge in order to implement successful sales strategies. Develop quarterly business plans with identified key account targets for each main product category. Ensure a superior customer service orientation with each account. Maintain the highest level of professionalism at all times both externally with customers and internally with Company employees. Keep management and sales personnel aware of any selling tips, success stories and suggestions that may help the sales organization. Provide ongoing information to Sales Management and Marketing on all competitive activities and product introductions or evaluations through the respective geographic boundaries. Report all weekly sales activities via call reports to Regional Business Manager and home office. Submit weekly expense report when necessary and adheres to expense policy and procedures. Maintain specific account knowledge within assigned territory such as: key decision makers in each department, department hierarchy, products used and how they are used, company products and competitor's products, and hospital programs. Consistently communicate new product ideas and potential improvements to sales and marketing management. May help introduce new product prototypes to various centers of influence and follows up these introductions when asked by the Marketing Department. Must maintain a valid driver's license. May perform other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: Bachelor Level of Degree in the Business, Marketing or related field of study 5 years of demonstrated experience in sales, medical device strongly preferred Skills and Knowledge: Proficient in the following computer software applications: Microsoft office Proven track record of sales success Must be self-motivated Exceptional interpersonal skills. This role involves developing and executing a successful sales strategy for rapid revenue growth and profitability within the assigned Anesthesia market. Responsible for providing inspiring leadership, strategic direction and tactical execution plans to our Anesthesia Remote Sales team. **Principal Responsibilities** + Develop sales strategy and tactics with DoS and support/drive execution of account penetration for new and existing products within the continuum of the Anesthesia portfolio. Develop, present, and execute regional sales plan to achieve and/or exceed assigned goals + Interface with remote sales reps by training, planning, counseling, and directing their efforts in selling and properly following up with accounts to achieve goals; formulate sales objectives for repr. Maximize growth opportunities with existing customers and prospect new accounts. + Lead and inspire a highly productive sales team. + Creates a culture of open and honest communication. + Creates a compelling team vision and selects, coaches, and develops a highly motivated sales team. + Perform regular field travel to coach team and accelerate regional growth. Coaches team to predict and forecast within 5% +/-. + Responsible for ensuring proper utilization of SF.com customer database to include leads, sales funnel and sales quotation functions. **Education / Experience Requirements** + A bachelor's degree in business, management or marketing is required, with an anticipated experience level of 5+ years as an individual contributor sales representative and 2+ years as a regional sales manager for external candidates.For internal candidates, prior sales leadership experience is a plus, but in absence thereof, candidates should be able to demonstrate a progressive and clear development plan that outlines preparedness for sales leadership. Prior sales and sales leadership experience must yield a demonstrated track record of success in the medical device industry. + Experience in leading teams with disruptive technology through the complex multi-department remote and inperson selling environment is ideal. **Specialized Skills / Other Requirements** + Clinically knowledgeable - with a strong history of utilizing basic A&P and clinical resources as a major part of driving a sale forward.
