About the role:
Boston Scientific's Associate Territory Manager (ATM) role is designed to prepare candidates for future positions as Territory Managers within the Endoscopy Division. The ATM will work closely with one or two Territory Managers in their region to help convert and grow the business. This role is focused on delivering outstanding service, supporting sales efforts, providing clinical education, and identifying new business opportunities that align with the company's goals. The ATM will collaborate with Territory Managers to drive sales revenue at targeted accounts, following the guidance of the Region Sales Manager. The ATM will report directly to a Development Manager and support various assignments based on business needs. This position does not guarantee a future territory assignment but offers significant growth and learning opportunities within a supportive and team-oriented environment. The ATM will support the greater Syracuse, NY area.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Build relationships through routine visits, product demonstrations, educational programs, product in-services, procedural observation, and problem resolution
* Provide daily procedural support in an intense OR/Endoscopy unit environment
* Work seamlessly with Territory Manager(s), supporting increased selling time
* Support revenue generating projects and goals to support account ownership
* Work closely with Territory Managers and Region Sales Managers to evaluate business conditions and sales trends
* Develop quarterly/annual business plans to achieve revenue targets
* Assist in professional education activities sponsored by BSC, both on-site and field training workshops
* Provide timely updates to Region Manager on ongoing business activities, competitive conditions, industry trends, etc.
* Manage expense budget and promotional budget within guidelines
* Maintain accurate records of sales expenses, customer files, and field sales reports
* Submit any required administrative paperwork in a timely manner
* Conduct all sales activities according to Travel & Entertainment (T&E) guidelines, Advamed Policies, and Integrity Policies
* Participate in occasional weekend and evening trade show and/or meetings, committed travel 30-40%

The specific role is to work with the existing team to help manage all aspects of current contract sales and new account acquisitions in the territory. Position Summary
The Sr. Sales Representative leads the strategic promotion and sales of designated products within an assigned territory, driving sustained growth and expanding utilization across key existing and emerging accounts. This position is remote to enhance our competitive edge and expand our cross-functional collaboration efforts. This role will require 20% of travel to enhance collaboration and ensure successful completion of projects.
This Remote Account Manager II is a U.S. remote-based Medtronic Endoscopy Operating Unit sales position. In collaboration with a team of field Strategic Account Managers, the RAM will call on healthcare organizations, including hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, and practices in a defined geographic area. The RAM will serve as a customer facing product expert responsible for educating physicians and nurses on the clinical advantages of the entire GI product portfolio. The position is focused on expanding the utilization of endoscopy products through market development and sales-oriented activities.
Additionally, the RAM is required to continually develop their clinical knowledge to serve as a product expert for the company. By doing so, they can convey information in an effective manner to help support optimal utilization of the full product portfolio to the widest range of health care providers. The RAM will work closely with internal partners (Clinical Product Specialists, Technical Support, Finance, Customer Service, and Sales Support) to coordinate Medtronic efforts to meet and exceed customer expectations.
A Day in the Life
PLAN & EXECUTE
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas by driving incremental product adoption through delivery of clinical knowledge primarily focused on the Gastrointestinal (GI) tract and Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) anatomy.
Thoroughly understand product line features, benefits and proof sources.
Educate physicians and clinical personnel on use of Endoscopy products.
Meet or exceed required selling activity metrics set by management
Establish excellent relationships with all healthcare professionals and physicians in their territory, specifically noted, gastroenterologists, endoscopic surgeons, interventional radiologists, HPB surgeons, administrative and lab personnel where procedures are performed or influenced.
Develop a thorough understanding and ability to communicate the reimbursement process for our products
Provide solution-oriented strategies to facilitate product adoption and accelerate sales growth.
Successfully launch new devices developed or acquired by the organization in the assigned territory.
CLINICAL EXCELLENCE
In-service accounts by demonstrating product applications, functionality and use via Zoom
Demonstrate disease state expertise in all areas for which the products are used.
Understand and articulate clinical and journal articles in all relevant disease states.
Develop in-depth clinical knowledge of the anatomy and physiology of the entire gastrointestinal tract
ADMINISTRATIVE
Accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales
Effectively manage pipeline via Salesforce.com (SFDC) platform
Consistently perform administrative responsibilities, such as, expense reports, sales reports, and other business requests.
Perform all on line trainings within assigned timelines demonstrating proficiency.
Awareness and adherence to Medtronic code of conduct policy.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 6+ years of sales experience
OR
Associate's Degree AND 4+ years of sales experience
OR
Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years of sales experience
Nice to Have
Inside Sales/Remote Sales experience within the medical device or healthcare industry
Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or Business preferred
Experience working in SFDC
Experience selling in a new or changed sales channel
Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
Excellence in process management and organizational agility
Established business planning and forecasting experience.
Demonstrated formal sales skills training, preferably from a Fortune 500 company.
Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
Good computer skills with specific skills in Microsoft Office: Power point, Excel, and Word.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$50,000.00The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
