Leveraging his 20+ years of executive leadership and technical experience combined with his successful sales and cloud industry knowledge, Russ has the unique ability to drive global growth while maintaining a diverse, fun, and healthy work culture. Before Infrascale, Russ led OVHcloud's growth into the US, rebranding OVH to OVHcloud, acquired vCloud Air from VMware, and built two additional data centers in the US. Russ also led the premium cloud hosting company, MediaTemple (mt), responsible for its global sales growth, brand, strategic direction, culture, and operational execution. Additionally, Russ helped lead the sale of MediaTemple (mt) to GoDaddy, where he stayed on the GoDaddy executive leadership team to help transform GoDaddy's multi-billion cloud and hosting business, build a culture of growth, and prepare for their IPO. Before Media Temple (mt), Russ led the growth of LibreDigital, the first company to distribute ebooks to the Kindle, iBooks, and other leading ebook stores, and helped run the process to sell to RR Donnelley. Russ also led NxTV to the forefront of the direct-to-consumer Internet TV and Internet video-on-demand. In 1997 Russ started his management career in Redwood City, CA, at Oracle, where he ran the West Coast Enterprise Application Sales team focused on companies with over $1 billion in revenue.Throughout his career and life beyond business, Russ has been an attentive student of innovation that drives change.
