Role & Responsibilities:
Specific responsibilities include:
• Provide support across all three verticals; Multifamily, Industrial, and Science & Technology, while allowing for specialization based on prior experience and the evolving needs of the business.
• Integral point-person that coordinates and communicates with various departments in order to execute the asset-level business plan and implement actions to create value.
• Assist senior Asset Management team professionals by conducting financial analyses on portfolio operations, including creation of cash flow, hold/sell and distribution models using ARGUS and excel.
• Assist in tracking investment performance.
• Writing, preparing and assembling Investment Committee memos with input from senior members of Asset Management team and the Vertical.
• Monitor the performance of existing investments and identify potential areas of concern or opportunity.
• Prepare quarterly valuations and reports by updating model assumptions, inputting property-level activity, and completing investor reports.
• Assist team members in dispositions or refinancing processes.
• Maintain databases, record, and assist Investor Relations in completing portfolio management activities.
• Conduct market research, data mining, and collect competitive property transaction information.
• Ensure complete and well-organized property files are maintained on Sharepoint for each Investment, including (but not limited to) weekly tracking reports, budgets, fully executed lease files, third party reports, etc.
• Prepare ad hoc analysis, documentation, and briefs for review by more senior team members.
• Assist with organizing, refining, and implementing the valuation process.
• Participate actively in the assigned Vertical - contributing to annual business plan preparation and regular investments analysis.
• Other responsibilities and requirements as required by manager or company.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2-5 years of real estate experience, with a preference for experience within the various asset classes.
• Understanding of commercial real estate industry (supply/demand, revenue and expense drivers, forecasting, reporting, leasing and marketing).
• Ability to create detailed financial models demonstrating exceptional proficiency with Excel; proven comprehension of complex analyses (e.g. different debt structures, ground leases, waterfalls, etc.).
• Ability to synthesize information, create structure for analyses, draw informed conclusions, and present to senior leaders.
• Ability to solve practical problems and manage multi-variable situations with limited standardization.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with acute attention to detail.
• Project management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently and effectively with little direction.

Compensation & Benefits:

The department is willing to consider the Staff Services Manager I (Spec) position for recruitment purposes. Under the general direction of the Personnel Services Branch (PSB) Manager, Personnel Program Manager II (PPM II), the Staff Personnel Program Analyst serves as a PSB Consultant providing support for the California State Payroll System (CSPS) project. The position will also provide expert guidance and support to Department HR Offices.

Working Conditions

Under the direction of the Dean of Academic Affairs, the Analyst will work in collaboration with the Community College Specialists (Specialists), to perform a variety of technical, analytical and administrative duties. As part of the Academic Affairs team, the Analyst will provide comprehensive programmatic and initiative support within the division. The Provider Development Unit prepares bill analyses and develops programs, policies, procedures and regulations to implement statutory changes that seek to realize California's longstanding goal that all children live as members of stable, committed, nurturing and permanent families. The unit also works closely with advocates, care providers, the legislature and the public on issues affecting the child welfare system and community care facilities under its jurisdiction.
The incumbent will work on special system integration projects as they relate to youth with complex care needs. The AGPA is required to develop and write regulations, policies, procedures, controlled correspondence and formal communications independently and in collaboration with other internal/external stakeholders. In addition, the AGPA will conduct reviews of county and provider operated programs, as well as provide ongoing consultation to counties and providers regarding clarification of applicable laws, regulations, and policies.

Position Description
Under the general guidance of IS Project Director, this Principal Business Analyst (Disaster Recovery) will be focused on leading and executing our organization's disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives. This senior-level position is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive disaster recovery strategies that protect our critical business operations and ensure rapid restoration capabilities in the event of a disruption. This role requires business acumen to collaborate internally agencywide and within larger Citywide disaster recovery programs to meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and City DPR3 polices.
Essential functions of the position include:
Disaster Recovery Plan Development & Maintenance
Lead the development of comprehensive enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity plans aligned with organizational objectives and risk tolerance
Conduct thorough documentation of all critical systems, applications, data, and dependencies within the plan
Create detailed recovery procedures and step-by-step runbooks for each critical system and application
Establish and document recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO) for all business-critical systems
Maintain up-to-date disaster recovery plans through regular reviews and updates (minimally quarterly or upon significant infrastructure changes)
Coordinate with system owners and business units to gather requirements and ensure plan accuracy and completeness
Document disaster recovery roles, responsibilities, and escalation procedures
Develop and maintain the Disaster Recovery Plan documentation, including executive summaries and detailed technical appendices
Ensure disaster recovery plans address various disaster scenarios (natural disasters, cyberattacks, infrastructure failures, etc.)
Archive and version control all disaster recovery documentation for historical reference and compliance
Strategic Planning & Infrastructure Design
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify critical systems and recovery priorities
Design recovery architectures and failover strategies for mission-critical applications and infrastructure
Evaluate and recommend disaster recovery technologies and solutions that align with organizational needs and budget
Develop disaster recovery strategies across multiple infrastructure environments (on-premises, cloud, hybrid)
Program Management & Implementation
Lead cross-functional teams to implement disaster recovery solutions across multiple business units and technical domains
Oversee procurement, configuration, and deployment of disaster recovery technologies and platforms
Manage disaster recovery budgets and resource allocation
Develop and manage disaster recovery documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
Testing & Validation
Plan and execute regular disaster recovery drills and full-scale exercises to validate plan effectiveness
Analyze test results, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to recovery procedures
Maintain detailed records of all testing activities and outcomes
Coordinate with business stakeholders on tabletop exercises and scenario-based planning
Compliance & Governance
Ensure disaster recovery programs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards (ISO 27001)

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet the minimum qualification requirement by the final filing date unless otherwise noted.
Education:
An associate degree in business administration, public administration, information systems, economics, finance, computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university OR its equivalent in terms of total course credits/units [i.e., at least sixty (60) semester or ninety (90) quarter credits/units with a minimum of twenty (20) semester or thirty (30) quarter credits/units in one of the fields above or a closely-related field].
Experience:
Five (5) years of experience in the information systems field, including system analysis, business process design, development and implementation of business application solutions or IT project management.
Substitution:

One (1) year is equivalent to thirty (30) semester units / forty-five (45) quarter units with a minimum of 10 semester / 15 quarter units in one of the fields above or a closely related field.
