Field Service Tech - Construction Equipment $2000 Signing Bonus No company can promise uncompromised customer satisfaction without the people to backup and deliver that promise. With the training we provide, the Field Service Technician helps Arnold to keep that standing. Essential Job Functions * Repairing and maintaining construction equipment * Travel to various job sites * Class A required * Disassemble, clean and reassemble all construction equipment * Follow specifications and procedures in service manuals and select the designated tools * Measure and identify parts and components for reusability or replacement, ordering new parts as required * Use all test and diagnostic equipment available to make adjustments to machines and systems * Make warranty recommendations and reports in representation of a prime product * Perform minor welding, fabrication, plumbing alignment and D.C. electric repairs * Guide/supervise subordinates in the repair of machinery equipment * Practice all good housekeeping and safety measures and procedures * Complete service reports in the English Language * Assist in the parts ordering process * Process warranty work orders * Process revenue field service work orders, obtain purchase orders from customers * Open and close Work Orders * Take phone calls for service jobs * Communicate the job status, progress, and/or problems to the customer * Complete special projects as needed Non-essential Job Functions * Assist the Service Manager with various tasks * Maintain a clean workspace and/or truck Physical Demands and Working Conditions: * Walking and moving about on foot often through uneven terrain * Lifting over 50 lbs. frequently * Hands/arms operating equipment, hand and power tools * Seizes, helps or works with hands * Raises or lowers miscellaneous equipment parts and tools * Extends hands and arms in any direction * Bends body downward and forward by bending at knees or waist * Remains in standing position if required for certain repair or maintenance work * Climbing In and out of equipment * Read work tickets, parts and service books and operate heavy equipment * Communications by radio, phone and in person * Hears well enough to discern mechanical problems for safety in and around shop and construction sites and to receive communication by radio, phone and in person * Sits in equipment and vehicles * Lies in prone position under vehicles and equipment

Full-time Description The Field Service Technician - Special Projects performs specialized installations, upgrades, and high-impact service assignments supporting company initiatives and client-specific projects. This role requires strong technical expertise, adaptability, and professionalism to ensure high-quality execution and customer satisfaction. This position requires 100% travel and may involve overnight stays of up to 3 weeks at a time. We are seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician for our First Quality Home Care Products , LLC facility located in Salt Lake City, UT. The Lead Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that department equipment is in good repair and working order and to direct and assist mechanics in their daily duties and functions. This person is also responsible in helping to oversee the preventative maintenance program and to assist the Maintenance Supervisor with related issues. Primary responsibilities include: Oversee and assist in the equipment changes and machinery set-ups, including all associated equipment. Schedule and ensure all preventive maintenance of molding equipment. Schedule and monitor machinery repair and re-builds. Build or modify equipment, as needed, while ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum. Work with the department supervisor and the Process/Changeover Lead person on all machinery schedules. Ensure all record keeping of equipment is up to date and accurate at all times. Ensure that all mechanics are following set-up procedures. Work with machine builders and parts room on all repair parts and order parts when needed. Locate problem areas and make good sound decisions on how to correct these problems. The ideal candidate should possess the following: High School Diploma / GED required Associate Degree in Electronics, or an Electromechanical Technician or Industrial Mechanic certificate is preferred. 2-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment required, high-speed preferred, maintaining large industrial machines, including in-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance. Physical requirements include frequently lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders and stairs, standing and walking for extended periods, and performing repetitive upper and lower body movements. Must be able to grip, push, pull, bend, stoop, crawl, twist, kneel, and reach. Requires visual and auditory ability to troubleshoot equipment, respond to alarms, and conduct inspections. Must have an awareness of GMPs to ensure hygienic security of bottles and components. Must have basic to intermediate-level computer skills (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook). Basic knowledge of Lean principles such as 5S, TPM, Root-Cause Analysis is highly desired. Must be an effective communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to adapt your communication style to different audiences, including active listening, clear presentation skills, and the capacity to provide and receive feedback at all levels of the organization. Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A shift differential will be provided. This position is responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipment. (S)he will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems and implementing corrective and preventative measures. Follow all required work safe practices. This would include compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc. Essential Duties: * Repair and maintain a variety of equipment and perform preventative maintenance on distribution center and/or manufacturing equipment * Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot, analyze and predict upcoming failures * Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas * Operate metalworking machines such as bench lathes, milling machines, punch presses, and drive presses to fabricate housings, fittings, jogs and fixtures * Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems * Remove and/or replace worn or defective parts * Other duties as assigned.
