Position Summary
The Family Support Specialist provides home visitation and case management services to families, ensuring quality programming and adherence to funder and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities
Residential Youth Support
* Completes client screenings/assessments in collaboration with cottage treatment team.
* Develops and implements safety and treatment plans in collaboration with cottage treatment team.
* Provides individual, family, or group therapy both in-person and in-cottage.
* Utilizes evidence based/promising practice principles (individually and as part of the cottage treatment team) to support youth.
* Contributes to building and maintaining a treatment milieu which supports trauma resolution and clinical progress for the youth.
* Lead the clinical milieu and participate in training/guiding all treatment team members.
Documentation & Compliance
* Complete all required documentation in the database within established timelines.
* Maintain accurate, organized family files and instructional materials.
* Adhere to agency, funder, state, and federal confidentiality standards.
Collaboration & Professional Development
* Attend team, collaborative, community, and all-staff meetings.
* Participate in required trainings and supervision.
* Maintain CPR/First Aid certification and professional boundaries.
Qualifications
* Master's degree or Doctorate in Social Work or Psychology/Counseling related field.
* Intern Registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an ACSW, AMFT, APCC or Registration as a Psychological Assistant with the Board of Health and Welfare
* Minimum of four (4) years' clinical experience working with youth with complex trauma, significant behavioral challenges and preferably with youth in foster care or group home.

The program is part of an innovative project which centers on work and meaningful daily activities as the core of the treatment approach, and collaborates closely with Community Connection's Mariposa Center. The Night Counselor is available to work four 10-hour shifts 10:30PM to 8:00AM.
Responsibilities include insuring the safety and well-being of the residents and the facility and support the program operations. Encompass will train you to provide a host of services at our residential mental health and substance use disorder treatment programs.
We are looking for individuals who have direct experience working with individuals who struggle with mental illness as well as people with a passion to serve this population. We are looking for night counselors with the skill and ability to work with clients who have multiple complex health needs and who are able to manage multiple tasks.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Insure adequate security for program residents and property.
Responsible for dealing with client behavioral and/or medical issues and facility fire, or natural emergencies while on duty.
Medication Passing and Inventory
May provide therapeutic crisis management.
May provide therapeutic intervention services based on best practices & selected evidence based practices for mental health or substance use disorders and/or co-occurring disorders.

As a Child and Family Counselor in Bakersfield, California, you will travel to your client's homes or community setting to coach and guide at-risk youth to strengthen their foundation to thrive in daily life. In our team-based setting, you'll document and share the status and experiences of your treatment and intervention plans with other team members, which may include social workers, parent partners, program managers and clinicians to provide the best support for the youth.

Position Summary

Your Skills and Duties
* Provide individual and group clinical supervision to staff providing direct services to clients.
* Will implement EPSDT standards training and provide ongoing review of EPSDT documentation.
* Ensure program compliance and quality assurance regarding funder, state and Agency requirements.
* Available for consultation and support to staff providing after hours on-call crisis management.
Education and Work Experience
* Licensed LMFT, LCSW or LPCC with the Board of Behavioral Sciences; two years' post licensure required.
* Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology or a related field.
* Two years' experience providing direct service to high risk youth in a related field/setting (community based, social services, behavioral health, school based or residential setting).
* Experience with Medi-Cal documentation and requirements preferred.
* Provide on-call emergency services on rotation
