Basic understanding and application of the IPC-A-610 standards Ability to read and apply shop documentation in reference to applicable assembly drawings to meet customer requirements Identify and read the values, correct polarity, and orientation of thru hole components (i.e. Capacitors, Resistors, Transistors, IC's, etc.) Identify the orientation and polarity of components in reference to the printed circuit board's reference designators and silk screen for thru hole component placement Verify thru-hole part values and correct part location placement Utilize basic equipment necessary to complete the product's final assembly including hand tools, electronic cutters, PCB depaneling equipment, automatic screw guns and feeders, pneumatic dispensing equipment, and/or other required tools per application.
