The Assembler will be primarily responsible for assembling military grade cable products. The Assembler handles a variety of products composed of small, light to medium weight components. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to assemble small components. The Assembler will be tasked with following established procedures in assembly operations and will work under close supervision using simple assembly and wiring instructions. Specialized training will be provided for this position. The position will report to the Production Manager. 1st Shift! Cleanroom experience is preferred with keen attention to detail in inspection of their work including the materials used. Also good hand eye co-ordination for assembly and detail oriented in their written documentation . The Electromechanical Assembler will work as a member of the production line to solder and assemble various electromechanical parts. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the essential duties required: Mount, connect, assemble, and secure parts and components of electronic equipment utilizing hand-soldering techniques. Assemble and test electromechanical components using a variety of tools and/or equipment according to required specifications, processes, and procedures. Conduct quality control checks. Escalate assemble issues to the production supervisor as needed. Perform repair work or rework as needed. Clean and maintain work area and equipment, including tools. Other duties as required. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Ability to hand solder required and must pass the internal certification process. Dexterity to assemble small components required. Position does not require any previous experience working with office software. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: No formal educational credentials are required. 0-1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting is helpful. Soldering experience or training preferred.
