Operating machinery that modifies the product (ex. chop saws) Preparing the product for shipment by applying casing, sleeves, labels, etc. Inspecting the overall quality and accuracy of assembled product throughout the assembly process Repairing and disassembling returned or defective millwork to prepare it for resale or return to stock. Performing routine maintenance on all tools used including cleaning, oiling, checking to ensure proper functioning, calibrating machines, checking measuring tool accuracy, and notifying a supervisor of larger repairs or malfunctions. Position Summary Perform a wide variety of mechanical or measurement assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Machine Assembler to join our team in building and testing CNC and Waterjet machinery. In this role, you will assemble high precision cutting systems, perform durability and functionality tests, and provide support to both internal teams and customers.
