Reporting to the Production Manager, Low Voltage Switchgear Assembler is responsible for assembling fabricated metal parts for switchgear cabinets according to specifications.
What a typical day looks like:
Review, analyze, and follow various blueprints, diagrams, drawing, procedures, and work instructions to complete assemblies for enclosure buildings
Mechanical assembly of components for switchgear cabinets
Uses various power tools and hand tools (ex. Drills, impacts, screwdrivers, grinders, etc.) to accomplish assigned tasks
Conduct quality assurance checks to confirm that assembled products meet specifications and quality standards
Identify any product defects; record and report them accordingly
Monitor and maintain inventory of necessary supplies, tools, and parts in work station
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform all other duties as assigned
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
High School Diploma or equivalent
0-2 years of related experience in assembly or manufacturing setting
Prior experience operating powered equipment (forklift, reach truck, scissors lift, overhead crane, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform work accurately
Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and safety management

Responsibilities:
- Manufacture all production Heart Valves
- Perform tissue inspection.- Work in a cleanroom environment.- Operate manufacturing, testing, and inspection equipment.- Safely operate and work with equipment, fixtures, tools, and chemicals.- Expert in interpreting GMPs or SOPs is required.- Provide team and supervisor with status updates on assigned responsibilities and goals, and when necessary, escalate issues in a timely fashion.- Provide feedback on any opportunities for improvement.- Maintain compliance with Quality System procedures and company policies.

SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Assembler is responsible for packaging food products while following the Food and
Employee Safety Programs and Guidelines of the company.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Load materials and products into package processing equipment.
· Checking products for quality on the production line and removing defective items.
· Keeping machines supplied with packaging materials and labels.
· Reporting machine faults to shift supervisors and maintenance staff.
· Press switches and turn knobs to start machines to package products.
· Making minor adjustments to machine settings to handle changes from one type of product or container to
another.
· Observe and listen to equipment to detect possible malfunctions, such as leaks or plugging, and report malfunctions or
undesirable tastes to supervisors.
· Monitor lot numbers, expiration dates and/or manufacturing dates for each product.
· Mark and label food products, using marking tools.
· Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
· Examine and inspect materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are
met.
· Record product, packaging, and order information on specified forms and records.
· Remove completed or defective products or materials, placing them on moving equipment
such as conveyors or in specified areas.
· Seal materials, using a case sealing machine and hand tools.
· Clean materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools.
