What You'll Get to Do:
Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. Full-time Description
ENTEK is seeking applications for multiple Assembly Technicians to join us on-site at our Henderson, Nevada, location (relocation within 40 miles of Henderson is required).
As an Assembly Technician at ENTEK, you will assemble products, following blueprints, schematic drawings, and specifications, using bolts or other fastening devices to attach them to foundations or other structures.
In your daily work as an ENTEK Assembly Technician, you will have the opportunity to utilize your experience to install moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings, and work them to test proper movement and assemble gear systems using alignment & measurement tools while ensuring proper assembly tolerances. You will also bend and install pipe for hydraulic systems and perform layout, prep, assembly, and installation of threaded and grooved pipe. To ensure the quality and integrity of final products, you will test (or assist with testing), analyze, troubleshoot, and correct machine issues.
You will participate in equipment maintenance on a daily and monthly basis. As needed and/or assigned, you will train other employees on department procedures to support the department's success and enhance quality and output.

The hours for this role are Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
This role is based in a manufacturing shop environment, which may require the employee to work with or near equipment that uses water / high heat / mechanical means to create metal-based products. The incumbent will spend most of their 8-hour shifts on their feet. This role requires the incumbent to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Incumbents will complete tasks that require finger dexterity, reaching, handling of materials and tools/and equipment, talking, and hearing, as well as near and far sight, peripheral vision, and depth perception. The individual in this role may be required to kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, and/or balance. The role may occasionally expose the employee to fumes and airborne particles, as well as temporarily high temperatures and temporarily bright light. This role requires wearing eye and hearing protection while working.
