This includes mechanical assembly of complex mechanisms, pneumatic assembly and routing, electrical wiring and setup of electrical components, and wiring of custom control cabinets. In addition, reading schematics and BOM's to correctly assemble and wire the automation project. Also possess the ability to recognize design deficiencies or malfunctions where immediate determinations or corrections are needed to enhance quality and/or safety.
Other Duties:
Layout, drilling, and cutting with hand power tools.
Travel and work in unfamiliar environments (25%).
Work independently, with minimal supervision.
Inspect equipment for quality and safety issues.
Work hours and shifts as necessary for installations.
Minimum Requirements:
Strong attention to detail
Clean and organized.
High school diploma
Forklift experience
Valid driver's license
Speak, read, and understand English.
Read and write proficiently.
Own your own basic electrical and mechanical tools.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand/walk for 10-hour shifts.
Be able to work in any position (reach, bend, kneel, etc.)
Be able to work in any environment (hot, cold, dusty, dirty, etc.)
Be able to normally see, hear and talk.
