Job Description Department: Production - Spring Shop Non-Exempt Salary: Hourly Summary Description: Catch and paint springs for garage doors as they come from the oven cooling conveyer in a safe and efficient manner. Cone the springs with a large drill motor and coning holder. Palletize the finished springs. Essential Duties: Catch and paint the springs as they come off the oven cooling conveyer in a safe and efficient manner Cut springs with cutting torch to needed length Check the quality and length of the springs Cone the springs with a large drill motor and coning holder palletize the finished springs Band the completed finished springs to the pallet. Label the springs Close out the work orders via the computer as required. Produce the springs at or above the set labor standards.
