ASSEMBLER - CLEAN ROOM
Position is responsible for the accurate assembly of components as specified by customer work orders, engineering process routers, blueprints and any applicable code or specification, in a clean room environment.
Reports to: Team Leader - Clean Room
Personnel: Not applicable.
Accountabilities: Assemblers are responsible for producing conforming components that meet all blueprint dimensions within the said tolerances; any moving parts must operate correctly. Cleanliness and preservation of internal components must be maintained along with the final appearance of the component. All SOP's and WI's must be followed and a safe, clean and organized work area must be maintained.

Duties:
Perform pre-clean room wash operations and follow appropriate procedures for clean room entry with materials.
Perform complex assembly operations using a variety of tools and equipment within a clean room environment.
Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, drawings, routing instructions, manuals and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished component.
Use torque wrenches and understands torque methods and sequencing.
Use precision measuring instruments.
Install thread inserts, keenserts and fasteners.
Operate and trouble shoot equipment used in assembly operations.
Perform material handling functions using material handling equipment within the clean room.
Enter correct data into data collection system (IDC) and ensure accurate labor reporting.
Understand and properly operate the “Available Documents” program.
Monitor and maintain proper cleanliness of equipment and work area on a daily basis.
Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
Job Qualification Requirements:
Educational Experience - A high school diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of one year of trade school, vocational education or apprenticeship is preferred but not required.

We are currently hiring for daytime Monday-Friday shifts starting at $11 per hour including full benefits.
The Assembler performs repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce products according to written and/or verbal instructions.
Example Duties and Activities
Works as a team member to assemble products as instructed by Team Leader/ERDS.
Cross-trains at different workstations as production needs require, following prescribed safety and quality requirements while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Uses tools, tooling setups, and fixtures for work productivity.
Meets all quality check requirements.
Completes complex production assembly steps.
Uses advanced power tools to produce products, such as a rivet gun, tooling setups, and fixtures for work productivity.
Performs machine setup and troubleshooting.
