Essential Position Functions: Assist in the planning of projects and review work together with the Director. Design deliverables, based on concept, with minimal supervision. Conceptualize layouts of websites, web pages, and other online and printed materials. Maintain and update web pages for desktop and mobile formats. Submit creative deliverables within the agreed-upon deadline to produce the necessary communications pieces in both digital and print environments for a wide range of products. Facilitate and prepare design files in requested formats, as requested. Collaborate within the department to conceptualize and execute creative solutions that can be translated across various media platforms. Ability to adapt to changes in priorities, concepts, or deadlines. Participate in pre- and post-production quality checks with constructive criticism. Attend meetings as assigned. Fulfill other responsibilities and duties as assigned. Position Specifications: Qualifications, Scope, and Complexity of Duties: Education: High school diploma, or equivalent, is required. Bachelor's degree in graphic arts, design, communications, or related field is preferred. Experience: One to two (1-2) years of experience in graphic design either with an agency or organization is required. Two to four (2-4) years of experience in web design is preferred. This position will offer you the opportunity to utilize and expand your design skills, while working in a multi-disciplined team environment with other Electrical and Structural designers and/or engineers in the development of transmission/distribution line drawings/designs. You will have the opportunity to apply your computer-aided drafting/design skills, while receiving hands-on training in 3D design software environments, such as AutoCAD 3D and/or MicroStation.
