As a Graphic Designer II, you will prepare art and work on special projects to support the credit union's goals. In addition, will work closely with the marketing department to complete requests and will adhere to industry standards to ensure we are competitive in the market.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Follow marketing and graphic design guidance to edit or update RBFCU collateral materials including direct mail, advertisements, brochures, etc.
Meet all deadlines
Assist in design and updates for multiple mediums, including web, print video and audio
Participate in brainstorming, marketing and advertisement strategies to strengthen the RBFCU brand
Design from the ground up with minimal direction from the Creative Director, to include complex designs that allow the credit union to stand apart form its contemporaries
Support the credit unions digital channels (i.e.- in-branch digital signs) with video reels that highlight credit union products and services

Requirements:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum of 3 years job-related experience

Perform well and remain organized under pressure and tight deadlines
Skills:
Adobe Master Collection CC - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects

Design overhead and underground distribution electrical facilities and also work on projects including but not limited to: system improvement pole locations, substation design, and service design.

Collaborate with electric utilities and private developers.
Maintain a keen focus on precision and technical expertise.
Verify as-built conditions in GIS/AUD so that any identified discrepancies with field date are corrected as part of engineering submissions.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of NESC, ArcFm Gis , SAP, Work Manager Software (overhead and underground).
Experience working on distribution, transmission, system improvement projects, substation design, service design, and switch replacements.
1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
Proficiency in one of the following MicroStation, AutoCAD, and GIS is required.
AUD (Automated Utility Design) experience is a bonus.
Familiarity with engineering design software applications, such as PLS CADD, PLS POLE, SPIDACalc, Quick Pole, CDEGS, CYMECAP, CYMEDIST, CYMETCC, SAG10 (as specified by the purchaser).
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Apply problem-solving abilities for large utility clients.
Utilize and learn engineering software packages for distribution design.
Communicate effectively with Project Manager and Team Leader on workload status to meet chargeability goals.
Preferred Experience:
Background in Electric Distribution, Natural Gas Distribution, and/or Communications (Fiber).
Strong math and engineering skills, including structural analysis, sag analysis, basic algebra, and geometry.
Understanding and adherence to the National Electric Safety Code (NESC) and client requirements.

Design working drawings of HVAC layouts derived from Manual J load calculations, and Manual D duct design using AutoCAD or other drawing programs
Be able to do plan Take offs and procurement of material and equipment for both departments
Organize scope into major categories to determine primary timetable for deliverables/milestones.
Manage and control all data through Excel, Job Folders, Teams, and Service Titan
